Soldado was about 500 then a new thread was started before he signed

Well, he is definitely smarter than I expected! In Romania some people are excited, but quite a few are disappointed - but historically the PL has never been big there. Amazing to have a Romanian at the club again, hopefully he'll do better than all the previous ones. I am pretty sure some flags will appear at the home games

Thanks mate, somewhat clarifying, although I can't see how talking to players trying to convince them to join us is not taking part in negotiations... But, we/I don't know his exact involvement, and must trust that the powers that be know what they're doing on this
