The turnaround has been nothing short of sensational. He still needs to massively improve in the last third but he’s a colossus in midfield nowadays. I don’t even get nervous any more when he’s the last man when we have a corner.

Definitely a candidate and most likely winner of POTS. Vertonghen, Son and Winks are also up there too for me. Maybe even Kane too if he hadn’t got injured tonight and went on a scoring run to get us top 4. Son will have to take that responsibility now.

Another thing with Sissoko is that when he’s on one of his charges through midfield, it feels like he’ll never lose it and that he can power past everyone.... and then hoof it into row Z. If he could sort out his finishing, he could be a 5-10 goals a season midfielder easily.
