Quick post deletion has made me reconsider, regarding the donation

Regarding my reaction yes it might have been a little over the top, but when you constantly deal with hate and having your identity and rights constantly debated in the media then I hope you can maybe understand why I felt that way. The itks aren't part of/staff of SC but if it was left up I'd have taken that as a clear sign on me not being wanted here by site ownership. Thankfully post was deleted swiftly.

Just wasn't what I wanted to see on here when this site is an enjoyable break from work and the worries of life

I deleted it, because It wasn't the right place for it and probably poorly worded. FWIW my position is nothing to do with hate, and everything to do with the rights of everyone and not just the few. Happy to continue it and explain my pov in the appropriate thread or via PM though if you wish.

The world is changing, albeit slower than most of us would hope and I think that maybe this subject deserves a thread if it's own because it's certainly an interesting one.
I think a lot has changed in a short time, so it's taking some people longer than others to get used to it.
I didn't take Trix's post at a pop at all trans-people and I'm sure that wasn't his intention, more a comment at how things have changed and the world is struggling to keep up.

I know that this an emotive subject.
To give some background I work with children and one of them I work closely with is beginning her journey to change gender. Now this has been difficult to date, and will continue the same way for a significant period due to her age.
I don't mean to mis represent, diminish or undermine anyones own experiences, both lived and learned.
The post/s which have clearly caused offence were not meant to do so and there was a light hearted nature to them.
I must also however say that every subject has the ability to offend someone, because it is relevant in some way to them.
That shouldnt mean that these subjects should not be spoken about, or joked about and avoided because they often lead to better, more informed discussion somewhere down the line.
I know this post has again gone off topic, and apologise for doing so but feel there is a sudden frostiness in here when there doesnt need to be.

Not sure how to bring this back on topic now, but does anyone have a good roundup of his time at Fulham last season they could link me to? Conteball made me lose a lot of passion for footie so I have no clue about anyone other than us last season, fuck knows why I gave up on the rest of football instead of us last season

Lets hope signing Solomon has a similar effect on Sonny as signing Porro did on Emerson who suddenly made a dramatic improvement.
As a mainly left sided attacker assume Solomon will be in competition with Sonny on that side of the pitch.
