Agree with every word here

So there’s a time to be prudent and a time to be self-aware. There's also a time just to pay up. Nothing that Spurs have done over the past five years now entitles them to a quiet life inside the top four. If they want that kind of permanence, then they must grasp these chances while they’re available.

Lo Celso is a rare player and this deal should have been completed yesterday.

There's no position more important to Tottenham than Giovani Lo Celso's – so why haven't they made his loan permanent yet?
Because he could have got injured playing today? Let's say he broke his leg today. Would that have been a wise decision ffs?

All for questioning it after the deadline, but activating the option before deadline day literally makes no sense. He's not going anywhere in the next few days is he lol.

Another good 60 minutes.
Once he gets his fitness up to the required level he is going to kill it.

One thing he needs to work on is getting on the ball more, obviously the rest of the team isn't helping him by constantly losing it. But in Eriksens hayday it felt like he constantly had the ball. He'll get better at it no doubt though.

Doesn't help that he's being shoved out wide left.

Seems so obvious but I really think a midfield three of: New DM, Ndombele, Lo Celso would be superb. Alli just isn't good enough in that deeper role.

Another good performance. Great run for the goal, and a player that can actually see a pass. Just need to get him on the ball more.
