The info i get and have got has aways been reality, be it positive or negative. Maybe if some people get their info from agents who like to spin a story and use the media to their benefit but my info comes from a very high level and so its the truth, positive or negative...

And that's why we love it ??

So are we still at the stage that Betis agreed a fee but changed the goalposts?

I think I'd be happy with GLC and Ndombele coming in and that's it. The fullbacks need addressing but with Tanganga coming in at CB, Toby & Rose staying and Foyth playing at RB, I'm happy to wait another year and look to bring in Aarons next year.

We also have Parrot and Skipp stepping up so that's a lot of change to last year's stale team anyway.

The important thing for me has always been that we look to freshen things up. I'd say we've almost achieved that pending the addition of GLC.

Dele looked a bit sharper yesterday which is promising.

Biggest thing that could have happened this year is Chelsea's transfer ban which has given us a free run at Ndombele and GLC.

ali z on :
eriksen/toby new deals: toby and eriksen have to want a deal, eriksen more likely.
sess and lo celso: trying
dybala: no idea
sell gkn: no takers
new right back: highly unlikely

Yup. Fee agreeed twice and both times Betis are acting like yeah - Spanish people.
Cheers - a few days go by and it seems like a lifetime. Must admit that with them getting Fekir - not that I expected them to agree a lowball fee but this does smack of them being awkward. It's a pity that there doesn't seem a viable back up option to hold over Betis but this lad clearly ticks all the boxes for Poch.

Thanks for this. The Dybala one is funny in the sense that it seemed to catch everyone off guard although to my knowledge, noone has said it's rubbish.

Could not agree more on this point and something that I find stupidly irksome when it comes to some of our dealings.

The Celso wants to leave.

Starting from that it is important that we reflect, nobody is going to reach 75 million and we need to bring a striker, today they already talk about quite low figures, but before you charge against HyC that little fault they will have that the rest of the teams do not pay Whatever we want, do the thought.

Because it is not worth saying, well then that everyone stays, if I hope, but then we will also want signings for the defense, middle, forward and goalkeeper and the money will get him out of the sky.

In the end Betis will tighten the rope until next week that Tottenham will not be able to sign more. But if Lo Celso and Junior stay, forget that a good forward comes and of course no one else.

I also want to highlight this:

The club Verdiblanco is somehow conditioned when raising its sale for what he paid for Lo Celso to the PSG a few months ago (22 million euros) and 20 percent of the surplus that the French club maintains. Since you want to get the maximum benefit of the transfer, in which you would also receive part of the cake Rosario Central and the player himself. In the negotiation there has even been talk of the resignation of quantities of several parties involved so that Betis could obtain greater benefit but until now there is no agreement although everyone is confident that it will be resolved in the next ten days.

I think they mean that even the PSG could give up some money, something that I honestly wouldn't understand if I put myself in their place.

Get the idea that the player ends up selling for 60/65 million euros. Hopefully Napoli comes in offering Milik but he looks like smoke.

As much as I like reading ITK and I know a lot is passed on in good faith I do wonder if there is an agenda to what they are being told. However when you or JJ speak it appears that it is more definitive and doesn’t smack if opinion or hidden club agendas .

Did I read somewhere that if Betis received a bid that they would have to significantly increase his salary? If so that would mean they could not afford to keep him? If that's the case the ball must be in our court?

Was it yourself that said the other day that it's a surprise that our scouts can't throw up more options? Totally agree with that.
I've said it in the past, I don't understand how the committee works though. As fans, it's just another part of the club we'll probably never understand.

Spot on. We really need a proper director of football. We're essentially a smaller version of Man United. Levy is great at finding commercial opportunities and thrives in that environment - the footballing side, however, is just way under par. Constantly looking for "deals", as if that is some sort of strategy, long outdrawn negotiations to pinch pennies which more often than not end up in utter failure, horrible timing (knowing when the club should grasp an opportunity and go for it, much like Liverpool) and most importantly shit decision making when it comes to actually pulling the trigger for players. That, of course, is not all on Levy, but he's responsible in the end.

Lo Celso is just part of this bigger picture. A deal seemingly destined for months, now quickly reaching the decisive moment without an agreement even close. Seen the same exact shit just last summer with Grealish. Embarrassing
I agree with the bolded bit and so does Levy. Poche however does not (he said so himself around the time he changed from "Head Coach" to "Manager").

To be honest not entirely sure why we don’t go back down the director of football approach. Know in the past Potch has said he won’t work under a DOF. However given his comments yesterday wonder if he will reconsider now. It feels that our current approach to transfers isn’t really working.

So PSG would be willing to forfeit some of their percentage....for us to sign their former player?

Wonder if Levy's offered them a certain left back on a cut price deal
