And if that doesn't happen and we run out of opportunity to do so, then fair enough.

Merry-go-round is this week according to some. Let's enjoy it. Then go full sandy vagina if it doesn't go our way. TN is still the tits and I'm excited about his inclusion.

If we get JLS or whatever his name is, then awesome too. (I know full well what his name is). Everybody in love, go put your hands up ...

No one said it's a good move. It's pure idiocy but the point is they're consistently getting things over the line relative to us.
They’re “getting things over the line” with pure idiocy?

I’m confused here, are you advocating that we employ the same idiocy to get things over the line, or are you saying that you’re happy with the way we’re operating because we’re not employing the same idiocy?

Argentine international Giovani Lo Celso will join the discipline of Real Betis Balompié this Wednesday in the training that Rubi will lead in Seville. After playing the Copa América with his team, the midfielder has enjoyed his vacations in Argentina and will become one of the last players to end his days off, like Mandi and Andrés Guardado , the latter stayed in his country to enjoy another week of rest after playing the tour of the team Verdiblanco in Mexico .

Giovani's future is pending resolution in the coming days , as the interest of several teams in the player is quite strong. In addition, Lo Celso has asked the Sevillian entity to go to London , although there are several offers it handles. On the other hand, the former PSG player would not see with bad eyes to stay another season if the figure that both parties agreed to leave was not reached .

The disbursement made by Betis in the hiring of Nabil Fekir indicates that it could be associated with a march for a huge amount of Lo Celso. Today, the amounts that are handled are far from the 75 million euros requested by the Argentine (pact made by the club with the player). For now, Lo Celso must dress in verdiblanco this Wednesday to be put under the orders of Joan Francesc 'Rubi'.

Pretty sure Jay Lloyd-Samuel retired ages ago mate.

Still, beggars, choosers, and all that.

We always panic this close to the window closing when everything that was "nailed on" earlier in the window goes quiet... People are entitled to panic a little bit imo. As I said earlier, I'm not yet in the panic camp as I still believe we'll get these deals done, but it doesn't help when these things drag on.
I agree with @YidRowe that this isn't particularly great window if we did just get Ndombele and no one else in, as we have effectively weakened at RB, and Ndombele is only a replacement for Dembele who we lost last season. The squad needs bolstering with at least 2-3 more signings AND holding on to Eriksen and Toby (Preferably with new deals)

well instead of panicking understand that ITK's also have a life and can't post in here 30 times a day

also consider we was told by ITK fee agreed, terms have been agreed, and the only thing stopping it was a medical because Lo Celso was on holiday. Now Betis either want more of a fee or more upfront payments which has delayed him flying to us rather than them. If Levy had made the payment when it was originally agreed it would of meant doing it 1-2 weeks before GLC could join unless he wanted to cut his holiday short, and then the club would also then have to pay a player that was contributing nothing.

would you take on new staff and pay them straight away and then let them take their 3 week holiday with pay?

Despite being the Sackinator, the content is true. Just checked GLC’s Instagram page and he has indeed posted this. Easier quoting this than screenshotting and posting myself. Very interesting.

But still 2 players we hoped to replace you and the others that expect perfection.

I've altered the above a little

we have Foyth, KWP, Aurier and even Dier that can play at right back. with Llorente we have Son, and Moura that can stand in for Kane, and also give Parrott some game time. when Kane was out the season we beat Chelsea at their place for the 1st time, I believe Kane missed 6 or 7 games and Janssen or any other striker was used.

just because you feel the need, Poch might know a little more than you because he sees the boys train day in day out.

funny thing is I'm more worried about us not having a more experienced keeper

Doesn't look like that guy is associated with Betis. Think it's most likely he's just saying thanks to his trainer in the off-season or smtg given that he supposedly returns to training tomorrow.

I dont think the categorical truth would be much different from opinion.

I cannot imagine Poch is happy. Perhaps by the end of it he will be but you do want to have a settled squad before pre season or even get the majority of stuff done. I just look at Liverscum last year and well, it should have been us this year in terms of wrapping up the signings. I can see why the signings havent been made however i.e. GLC was on intl duty for example
