Utter shit show all round.

The club aren’t so out of touch that they don’t realise thousands and thousands of fans will have been sat expecting the announcement tonight.

Not content with ripping us off for tickets and playing like a pack of twats on the pitch for two years, they’re now finding novel ways to take the piss out of us all.

Night all

124 pages in a day must be some sort of record. Matched tomorrow when it doesnt get announced before training starts.

I actually prefer a morning announcement, sets you in the right mood for the day.

Whereas an evening announcement and you can't sleep cause of the adrenaline ?

What a shower of shite, he arrived at Hotspur way just before 2? I just don’t get it.
Well he probably had a continuation of his medical, that probably started in Madrid, or at least a follow up, that can take hours, like a lot of hours. A medical can take up to 12 hours, so could have conceivably taken most of the day. Then photos, contract signing interview, meeting staff etc, another hour or so. Then editing, graphics and rendering, a few hours if done quickly with a lot of staff. These things take time.

So baffling how we announce things, Mourinho was announced at something like 0630 iirc. Then we had that day after we sold Bale when they pumped out about 6 players hour after hour.

It make sense to leave the announcement till tomorrow.

Given the time both players arrived at the training ground, completed any outstanding parts of their medicals, met the staff, signed contracts and then did photo’s and videos for our social media platforms... it’s understandable that they haven’t been presented tonight. No point doing it 10pm onwards as they will be knackered and their won’t be much of an audience tuned into Sky Sports and the various other news channels at this time.

I'm not arsed. We've got him.

That said, its hilarious that we've had the equivalent of a League 2 attendance on here all day today, literally in this thread. I've done no sodding work and have not moved from this site.

I've now got a stonking headache, I'm tired and I have double the amount of friggin work to do on Monday!

I'm perfectly sanguine about it. I'm not looking to cast aspersions, but I've not gone into meltdown over it. Shit happens.

I do understand the frustration, though and I'd never criticise anyone for venting their frustration. If we take a step back and look at ourselves as a whole and what we've gone through recently - unbelievable highs and some serious lows, we're all feeling a little... stretched, shall we say? And that's just on the footballing side of things, let alone other external matters.

Some of us will be collected and lose our shit over something other entirely and some of us will lose our shit over this and be composed in other areas.

All I can say to everyone is try to be happy and remember: this too shall pass.
