Easy to say in hindsight but think he we should have just gone 442 when he came on.

Sissoko right, Ndombele and Hojberg central and Reguilon left.

Kane and Bale up front.

Pretty confident we would have seen the game out with those changes.

Hes still got speed and great skill to set himself up, shame he couldnt bury that. Going to be great when he gets fully fit and sharp.

I dunno. It wasn't a really blatant shove and Bale didn't even protest. You can't give pens every time someone touches a player in the box.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Yarmolenko did just about enough to put Bale off without making a foul.

If he doesn't get the shot off he gets given the penalty, it's why it's not been given. Which is bullshit.

Only if he dives. Reguilon absolutely took out Bowen and it wasn't even a foul so you can't have it both ways.

Reguilon went shoulder to shoulder with a player. He's not shoved with his arms out, hands on the player and gone straight through him.

The only good thing to take from today is that we are still only 5 points off the top; it could be worse. There's a long way to go between now and the end of the season and I still think we'll do well.

Rusty as he was always going to be. Hopefully Jose will use the next few weeks to start him in Europa League build his match fitness up that way and continue give him 20-30 minutes in the league and by mid to end ion November be nice and match sharp.

Really depends on how this match effect the players mentally.. We all know they can be very mentally weak. Massive test now for Jose to see how he picks them up.

I think they'll be fine. We won 6-1 after the Newcastle game. I think if anything it will spur them on.

He didn't look that fit to me. Wasn't really pressing from the front and not sprinting like I thought he would expect only coming on for 25 minutes. Needs more game time. Still that bit of skill for his chance was beautiful.
