Some of his finishing is insane.
I have missed that beautiful left foot so much.
More gammon than a butcher’s windowHe plays on the left!!
Thought I was in the Rudiger thread for a sec there. He plays on the left!!
You were born on the same day as Ledley King... born to be a yid!40th birthday in a pandemic had some advantages...real class gifts!
Sorry not a Bale update, but this became my most joyous thread? COYS View attachment 75858
Poor Joe Hart is made to look terrible in these promo vids.Still won’t use his right foot!
Drives me nuts. The conventional wisdom on cesspools like Twitter and Reddit seems to be that Gareth Fucking Bale has become abject dogshit. There doesn't seem to be any acknowledgement that he'd been playing under a manager who despised him, publicly mocked him and ostracized him for the past two seasons.Quite amusing seeing some of the responses from rival fans to those clips of him in training. Think the golf memes and Madrid drama have made a lot of people forget how good Gareth f*cking Bale is. Think it’s dawning on a few people that he remains one of the best players on the planet. And that he’s not coming back to try and carry an average side. He’s coming back to play with two more of the best attacking players on the planet. And that’s a scary thought for rival fans. If that attacking trident stays fit and in the groove and we can keep a solid base behind and good supply line up to them this season then we’re a massive problem for anyone. I can’t wait.
Chucked him in as soon as he became available to pickWaiting for him to be fit so can chuck him into my fantasy football team alongside Son and Kane.
Where can I find these responses from rival fans please? I need a good start to the day.Quite amusing seeing some of the responses from rival fans to those clips of him in training. Good post. Beats me how you got a “spam” and a “disagree”.Football fans tend to go to the extremes when discussing players; either a player is useless or he's the reincarnation of Maradona.
I doubt we'll see the very best of Bale, as those days are probably behind him, but we'll still see a world class forward.
I think we'll also see more of Bale's experience and winning mentality, rather than his blistering pace and power. Subtle movements, passes and cheeky finishes, rather than tearing around the pitch at every opportunity.
And finally, it's already been mentioned that Bale isn't joining a mid-table club who are pinning all their hopes on him getting them into Europe. He's joining a Top 4 club (arguably), coached by a legendary manager, who don't necessarily need him to win things. But since we have him, he'll add even more value to the squad and hopefully give us that extra something to bring home the silverware!
