I'd be quite happy for the club to spend the extra 500k integrating him back into the dressing room, boosting morale, doing theory coaching sessions (at least) and generally settling in. Every place in the premiership is worth £1.5m and the difference between 4th and 5th is massive !

Not sure, Giggs said it was always pre-planned to only give him 45 mins so he wasn't withdrawn cause of an injury but who knows if he picked up one In training or had an underlying one.

Having said that I really don't think its anything to do with an injury, there's no way the club would have allowed him to come over knowing there was a media frenzy waiting.
