I don't always get a chance to get on the site so I might be a little behind on what's going on. I imagine this ITK means no potential suitors. The last I heard he was holding out for one of the bigger boys, but failing that he'd sign.

Makes sense as I'm sure he can still see the merit of staying and what we are building. Sideways moves will be pointless.

I can only hope that if he signs a new contract he'll have renewed focus and the drive to better perform rather than sit back on his haunches. He's been a shadow of his former self recently and that's most likely because his head has been eleswhere. Funny really, because had he upped his game and played like the Eriksen we fell in love with he would definitely have earned the admiration of Barca or Real. Suits us I guess, but only if he decides he wants to get back to his best. Hopefully Poch can get that out of him again.

Eriksen comments were respectful towards the club, stated that Spurs were not a club that didn't tick many boxes and that he was only interested in going to a club that was clearly a step up from Spurs and pretty much he's only been interested in real Madrid so as far as eriksen is concerned the only way he is leaving Spurs is if he's going to one of the top tier 1 sides.
