Thought that might be the case, fuckwits
Lamela for the majority of his time here has flattered to deceive. His ship sailed sometime ago.Without wanting to be too parrotty, we really do 'need' Lo Celso as well. We need our Lamela from '15-'17 back desperately, basically someone who can offer that little bit extra creatively in a different, more tenacious way than Eriksen, and also offer an alternative to him. Sadly, Lamela is unlikely to be able to provide that anymore. Nevertheless, Eriksen signing a new deal would of course be huge.
It's been taken down, too many idiots don't know when to give it a fucking rest.

I anticipate this contract will suit everyone involved. No doubt there will be some sort of suitable buy out clause. I don't seem him doing a Zaha, when he is intent on playing for RM/Barca at some point, as this contract will take him past 31 years old if he's locked in.
It's a rare case of a clause working for all parties.
It gives us a guaranteed fee when there is a real threat of losing him for free, which in turn should allow us to adequately replace him if he leaves.
It gives Eriksen clarity going into the new season, a hefty payrise and new motivation (earn the move/prove them wrong).
The only concern is that I'm sure he'll have Real/Juve/Bayern/PSG in his ear like a bad conscience asking him to go on a free next year.
And then Grealish comes?I think he will sign a new deal, have a blinding season, finally get his move to Madrid and we already have GLC who has learnt a bit from Eriksen during the season and we do not panic in 12 months time and we get a decent fee for him
Have a feeling he will stay at Villa whilst they are in the PLAnd then Grealish comes?
Second most goals in the league from set pieces.I’ve been pretty critical of him but if he actually signs a new contract instead of playing out his final year then fair play to him. Just as long as it’s in the contract that someone else takes set pieces
Maybe he meant corners specifically? Because Eriksen has been god awful for the last 2+ years from the cornerSecond most goals in the league from set pieces.
If only it were that simple
Why do you need to start an argument about him again? Anyone with eyes knows his free kicks are terrible and corners just as bad. We were way more efficient with our corners when Lamela/Trippier taking themSecond most goals in the league from set pieces.
It’s clearly a direction given from Poch. Do y’all really believe Eriksen can’t get it past the first man on a corner yet can make some of the absurd passes he regularly makes?Maybe he meant corners specifically? Because Eriksen has been god awful for the last 2+ years from the corner
He can’t, simple as thatIt’s clearly a direction given from Poch. Do y’all really believe Eriksen can’t get it past the first man on a corner yet can make some of the absurd passes he regularly makes?
Guess that’s why he did it when we scored vs Dortmund? He can’t, simple as that
You’re right, there’s basically nobody better in the league than him. I must have imagined when he hit Raheem Sterling’s knees when there wasn’t even a wallGuess that’s why he did it when we scored vs Dortmund?
