He's been very good this season, he's an intelligent footballer. It's a tough call between him & Rose they both have their merits.

He has definetly improved under Poch. Gets to the by line now and prepared to attack down the flank.

This is why I'd love to see if Poch could pull a Dier pt. 2 and try Davies as a DM.

Think about his skillset - He's tactically aware and positional astute defensively both out wide and centrally (which he's played for us once or twice and for his country) while he's also an underrated passer of the ball (always seems to have an idea where to go with it before he gets it) plus he can obviously throw a good tackle in for good measure.

Putting him in that role can also alleviate the major concern of his skillset which is a lack of electric pace.

Remember last year around this time people were doubting him saying that we wasted money on him but he's really improved. People are saying the same things about Tripper now.

Good news story. Developing into a very good full back. Plays with a modicum of intelligence and has genuine ability in his left foot - he plays some perceptive balls into the box. I like rose a lot but Davies is comfortably better now - as for walker, just a shame neither rose or Davies can play on the right.

Ben actually played at DM for his team in neath as a kid well as a centre mid, before hitting Swanseas academy and initially being a centre half before the lack of height concern and being moved to left back

Also heard something strange that he's crazy quick over 100M.

He done well tonight can't think of a single time where mahrez troubled us

Thought he looked a decent LB last season, but I've been really impressed with him so far this season.

Enjoying seeing the competion we currently have for the LB slot, which is helping to bring out the best in both Rose and Davies.

Really impressed with him today, he kept Mahrez really quiet all game and looked excellent going forward. Our MOTM.

Played very well last night. His passing is so good, looks up and passes to someone rather than just whacking it across the goal.

His passing is hands down way better than Rose, but I still think this is the position that is still the biggest battle. Rose is a bit more aggressive and for me a bit more sound defensively.

I think Davies is fitter this season and has gained a bit of pace. Good game against Leicester. Tough call between him and Rose which is great for us.

I may be in the minority but I am absolutely loving Poch's rotation of Rose/Davies. They have both played very well whenever called upon. I just wish we had more competition like that in other areas too. Then we'd be fresh AND competitive!

Im so please Rose isn't first choice anymore. Davies is much better on the ball.
