I was thinking about this but heres my opinion:

Madrid have no room or interest in him
Barca are too stacked now and cant go in for him
Athletico just signed joao felix for a similar position
Psg have ffp issues although could change with neymar but that will be complicated

So that leaves bayern, city and us really. Juventus realistically need a few people off the squad list but without those big 3/4 teams in for him I cant see them getting a mega price and he didnt have a good season.

So! If we look at this in the same way but replace Dybala with Eriksen then the same applies.
Eriksen wants out but no teams are interested or have space for him.
And if Juve is trying to reduce their squad then a swap between Eriksen and Dybala is also a no-go.
Making this Dybala link even more unlikely.

Great!!......i feel shit again now!

Go tell that to De Bruyne, Sane and even Benardo Silva :)

I'm not saying that Dybala would be a squad player - i'm just saying he gives us more options.
If it's true that Eriksen underperformed last season because he played too many games and was basically knackered - then rotating players is surely a good thing - and if within that rotation you've got equally good players to choose from then you're winning!

Man City have proven that.
Fair, it's early - I probably read it wrong!

Has JJ removed his post on twitter ?

Obviously my opinion means nothing but him doing that made me really hopeful.

Man Utd as well could afford him and offer him Massive wages. They will still be attractive to players.

I did debate including them but I think that their manager doesnt have any pull with top players and our manager being argentinian favours us big time. Just my opinion though, financially they can probably blow us out the water.

It’s a simple fact that we need another match winner, someone who can terrorise defences and both create and score 15 plus goals. Both Dybala and Bale fit the mould.

Whilst I do not understand the logistics of one club registering their interest in another clubs player, is it not too hard to fathom that Levy has inquired about Dybala, as a left field but slightly believable option (Argentinian, still quite young, CL experience etc)

If registering interest is fairly easy to do so, then it would be easy for this information to reach reliant journalists and ITKs as the information on interest is genuine. But it is not to say whether he have any intentions of going through with a purchase/transfer.

It would not be out of character for Levy to be playing a game of chess with Real Betis, suggesting that he is more than happy to spend greater funds on Dybala who has greater experience than Lo Celso and is a more established player. Showing Betis that whilst we have the funds that they seek, we aren’t prepared to pay the price they are currently after. Which would then show Betis that our valuation for Lo Celso is actually rather reasonable at around £55million, or there abouts... which you would assume Betis are more open to with each passing day.

Let’s not forget Betis have already committed in buying Fékir, with their manager saying he cannot have both in the team, unfortunately for him.

This reminds me of my school days when we were 'signing' Gabriel Batistuta.

I fell for it then, I won't fall for it now!

Dybala and Kane up top...frightening! ?

It's quite simple. If we add Lo Celso and Dybala to the squad we already have then we can realistically challenge Manchester City. However I think if we add Dybala then Eriksen will be sold just from a financial point of view. Alli will also have serious competition in all the positions that we have played him in.

I always thought if we heard something like this itd be further down the line than what we are hearing, like the media is 2 weeks behind where the deal is but I dont know, I can undestand logically how this deal suits all parties, it just seems all a bit too good to bee true.

Would be much better business than signing Bale back (and I love Gareth), as he's five years younger and actually can play football instead of being injured. But let's be realistic, the chances for either are about the same.

Just feels like one of those ones where, if he’s available, a bigger fish comes along. But then it felt like that with Ndombele and I don’t think any club has as big a draw as Poch right now.

Fuck knows.

Think you've nailed it!........but booo for making so much sense! :p

I can totally see Levy doing this as a negotiation tactic with Real Betis, however as some have already alluded to on here, i really hope it doesn't backfire and we lose Lo Celso altogether.

The fact that Lo Celso seemed so far along is a concern

I hope we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot! I would be happy with either but I think this is an elaborate tactic to get what we want for a good price.
