Only reason I’m holding out hope is the comment about it’s whether the player will accept it. I recognize that applies in literally every transfer but feel it wouldn’t be worth mentioning if it was a club that a player would be expected to accept (Man City, perhaps or, puke, Chelsea, for example).

We love the club but are obviously not yet at that level, given the earlier events of the window.

He’s completely crocked, we’ve just signed Kulusevski who plays RW and signing him allows Arsenal to get rid of Aubameyang.

This isn’t appealing unless it’s an absurdly favourable deal for us. Like no transfer fee, his wages covered until year’s end and a cheap salary.

Would be annoying if he went to Chelsea and allowed Arsenal to get Auba off their books (and potentially trigger the Isak clause although that is very speculative).
Be fuckin typical Chelsea to piss on our day. Swear to God they do it out of spite.

Those two clubs are so in bed with eachother I wouldn’t bet against it. Pricks.

I'm not sure how I feel about PEA actually getting his move if we were to - unbelievably - go for Dembele. I think I'd rather he just had to do the flight of shame back to Woolwich, South London - home of "The Arsenal".
