Here’s a mental thought: if Poch did go, and Levy wanted someone he couldn’t get until next summer (eg a Nagelsmann or Rodgers), is there any chance we end up with ‘Arry in a caretaker role??? 2019’s David Pleat?!?
Another Manager finished by poor transfers from the board.
From nobody credibleand rumor of Son wanting to leave if Poch does....
And yet people will still fall over themselves to defend baldilocks
... This club is run like a clown show.
I'm not sure what worth there is in quoting this summers signings when our problems are pretty widely thought to have started before that but what interests me more is why you've left out the summer of zero, you know, the summer we made footballing history by signing absolutely nobody, an act of negligence bordering on the staggering.I mean our chairman did go out and get over £100m of incomings the summer 2017 and nearly £150m of incomings this summer pending the Lo Celso deal.
That failure to sign anyone-and whoever was responsible for it- cannot be underestimated in its role in creating a stale and jaded squad. It was laughably arrogantI'm not sure what worth there is in quoting this summers signings when our problems are pretty widely thought to have started before that but what interests me more is why you've left out the summer of zero, you know, the summer we made footballing history by signing absolutely nobody, an act of negligence bordering on the staggering.
It was pretty widely condemned at the time and those chickens are coming home to roost, the effect of that fuck-up should not be underestimated.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but does it really make that much sense to bring someone new in while the bulk of your senior squad aren't even there? Wouldn't a new manager have less time to meet and work with the bulk of the first team during the int'l break than on a normal week? The mail running with identical story as well. To me it all seems complete bollocks! It makes no sense what’s so ever to sack Potch after the West Ham game if we lose given we have just had a two week break which would have been the time to do it if they were going to sack him! Not after the game directly after the two week break
It makes a shit load of sense to me. I expect there are severance packages to be negotiated and renegotiated, as well as new terms and conditions to be established with the new manager and their group of staff. We’re not exactly decisive, comparatively speaking, in the transfer market, buying or selling so if it’s true that Poch is going it’s hardly surprising it didn’t happen earlierFeels a little ‘no smoke without fire’ but makes no sense at all why we’d be losing Poch this week and not immediately after Sheff U, if it has to happen.
I think I’m on board with the Jose idea. Could be brilliant, could be a disaster, wont be average.
New article with a whole load of nothingness really
Let's see the next manager to get 4 top four finishes in a row and get us into champions league final on a next to nothing net so spend.
Let's see everyone's saviour, serial winner Jose do that. Never going happen, it's only downhill from now if we go down the road of getting read of the manager rather than backing him and getting ready of the players who clearly would prefer to be anywhere else than at spurs.

No-one is blameless. Levy gets a lot right but he's not infallible. Look at the season that we needed a push to keep the league title momentum going and we got Nelson and Saha. How about the ones Pochettino apparently wanted that we didn't go for? Lallana, Schneiderlin, Berahino. Is it the chairmans fault we went for Aurier over Ricardo or Grealish over Maddison? I mean our chairman did go out and get over £100m of incomings the summer 2017 and nearly £150m of incomings this summer pending the Lo Celso deal.
He is now favourite with most bookies for next manger to leave with Jose as short as evens
I think there’s legs in this, unfortunately
