So you think that Jose will see the best way to achieve success is to sell our best players, something he's never done before?
You're just looking for things to worry about now, its just daft.

When he sold those players they were young and not being played, they were nowhere near the players they are today (except Lukaku who has somehow got worse)
You're excited about his appointment that's fine. I'm not. If you actually read what I said about selling players it was to point out that if he doesn't get the money he wants to buy players he will sell to get them. There is no way that Levy will give him 200 or 300 thousand so he will turn the squad over. I also said he's never managed a club that has buying restrictions like we do. It was part of the problem at UTD when they wouldn't give him more money.
I also said in another thread whilst I didn't want him here he's now our manager and I will support him and hope he proves me wrong, but I doubt it.

How do you know this?
I did read your post and it was just the same tired old bollocks thats been posted on here a million times before but with some new nonsense thrown in to spice it up a bit.
As I said, you're just looking for things up to worry about.

For your information I don't worry about anything. I've been following Tottenham for many years Long before you were born to worry. I have an opinion it's different to yours, lets see how it turns out.

If one thing is for sure - looking at this clip, it's that Mourinho has big ambitions and pretty big asks of his next employer, so unless we're going for a rolling monthly contract, Levy must be giving some pretty cast iron assurances on spending.

Go to 6m18s. He also talks about Poch shortly after.

The whole thing is worth a watch if you've got the time.

Couple of interesting quotes from that...

In my next job, I will not be starting a conversation with a club without knowing exactly what the club wants and what the clubs has to give in terms of structure and in terms of the clubs objectives.

On winning being the most important thing –
A lie told 1000 times becomes truth. It is not true. Can you tell me 2004 - 2006 Chelsea was not a phenomenal team with absolutely entertaining football, attacking football, counter attacking football amazing defensive football too? Can you tell that that team was not phenomenal?

I arrive in a club, I wear the shirt, and I only take off the shirt on the day I left. I fight for the club, and I don’t care about my image, and I don’t care about any consequence.

Don't forget he was fired from his last two jobs with poor results and losing the players respect. In my opinion his winning days are behind him. But it will be interesting to see how he manages for the first time a club with limited spending as he's always been at big clubs with big budgets. My worry is if he can't get the money for the players he want's he will sell a top player to raise the money i.e Kane and Son as he has done before. In fact he has sold some big names in the past even if he doesn't need to raise money like Lukaku (twice), De Bruene and Salah.

Didn't he win the CL with Porto and Inter?
Both teams with significantly less finance than us.

I love it when he puts Keys on the spot and the furry gerbil has no way of explaining his answer.

"Modern football is.....pass completion......scoring goals...."

Jose well and truly got him there

I am close to 100% confident that Levy will have had a conversation with Mourinho about the funding available for the squad, Levy is many things but stupid isn’t one of them.

OK now that we have our 'next' Spurs manager, there's a few other threads in which he can be discussed.

So.......
