So quote their posts? That way I won't think it is aimed at me.
To be honest mate, this is coming across as you being a little precious now.
you seem to have a bee in your bonnet about people trying to look for positives, like that makes them completely oblivious about all the shit that come before this point.
We all know it's a fuck up and Ange was nobodies first choice but that doesn't particularly mean he's a bad choice, or that Levy is being let off the hook.

Clutching here mate.

If Celtic weren't in a cup final then it 'might' have been sorted a couple of weeks ago.. so they'll have agreed to talk about it at the end of the season.
Only Ange & Celtic will know, all we can do is wait & see. Dermot Desmond doesn't normally let valuable people leave for free.
Hopefully we'll find out early this week & we get closure regarding the managerial search.

You do realise that Celtic will win the cup, Ange will get the microphone to address the crowd and announce that he's not going anywhere 🤣

Wasn't Prof the one who said Amorim was one and was impressive in the interview or was that someone else? Enrique seems like a later option that came up to me. I just think with him unemployed we would be pretty much sorted if he was 2nd choice after Slot. I don't see why it drags this long.
would love for it to be Amorim- tbh and no disrespect but nobody has been that reliable the whole coaching search. Levy & co don't know what they're doing so its all over the place and as a result, so is the info.

Levy doesn’t need to be on the same page as the managers. Their job is the football side, his job is paying up to get them the tools. He cannot and should not have a football opinion as he isn’t qualified.

it like me going to a construction site and telling them what equipment they can have to do the job
What makes you qualified to have this football opinion?

My frustration is not about who but how this has happened - it’s a repeat of 2021 and this time they had at least 6 months notice, a massive gap in the middle of the season for the World Cup when a line in the sand could have been drawn, a decision taken, or at least a plan made…

If it’s Postecoglu then I’ll support him and the team, and maybe it will work out - but if it does, it will be through luck and not good decision making, I think that is clear

But the reality is it woud've been difficult to announce Ange, or Slot for that matter, in the middle of their seasons.

It seems clear to me there was a plan - we spent some time discussing what type of manager we wanted. We developed a shortlist of names. We spent some time talking to available candidates like JN and Enrique to feel them out. Either they turned us down or we turned them down but I don't see how the situation is indicative of us not having a plan.

Anyway, I'm making excuses for the Board again....giving them the benefit of the doubt. If we don't announce somebody in the coming days then my excuses are no longer valid. Wea re absolutely 100% at crunch time now.

Second, according to Prof on COYS. This was in response to a positive post about Ange:

I get the impression that many (though not all) COYSers would have been somewhere between okay and enthusiastic with either of the top two names on the list that came out of the original assessment process. #3 not so much, so let's hope they can seal a deal with #2.
I'll be honest. I don't think we've ever even had an actual first second or third choice.
