Can anyone with good knowledge of Gallardo tell me how he’d possibly line us up next season?

You can denote ? for areas he would probably need new signings.
IMO, assuming we permanently sign Kulusevski, new signings would need to be:
GK - Needed regardless of the manager
DC - Needed regardless of the manager
Back up DC - Needed regardless of the manager
CM
Someone that can play AM & RW (if Gallardo doesn't thin Gil is good enough)
Someone that can play LW/SC (or Keep Danjuma, who could fit perfectly based on his time at Villareal)

Personally, I don't think PEH will fit and think Skipp will be better in the DM, but will do for now, but long term, would be better to sell PEH and bring in another CM or possibly promote Devine.

Line up possibilities:
4-3-3

Kane/Richarlison
Son/New LW ----------------- Deki/New RW/AM
Bentancur/Skipp ---Sarr/New CM
Bissouma/PEH
Udogie/Davies-- New CB/New CB-- Romero/Dier --Porro/Emerson
New GK/Lloris

4-1-2-1-2

Son/Richarlison------Deki/New LW/SC
Kane/New RW/AM
Bentancur/Skipp ---Sarr/New CM
Bissouma/PEH
Udogie/Davies-- New CB/New CB-- Romero/Dier --Porro/Emerson
New GK/Lloris

Watching us tonight (and for many years prior) I can’t help but feel we need a manager who sets out to play with aggressive attacking intent and some serious recruitment of technical players.

Watching Arsenal last season you could see plenty of flaws but you could also see that they had exceptional attacking movement and a determination to be hyper aggressive. That got them into trouble plenty, but the coaching staff backed the players despite mistakes, recruited well in line with what they needed to play that way and now it’s paying off for them.

We had it for a period under Pochettino, a brief spell at the beginning of Mourinho and sporadically last season under Conte. We don’t currently have a squad of players with enough technical ability on the ball, that will take time to fix. Putting aside the omnishambles of leadership and strategy at board level I think it begins with the right coach, and a lorry load of patience.

That’s not Pochettino for me, or Frank or Tuchel. Gallardo is my pick, but there are others. It will take time but I believe it will be worth it in the long run and enjoyable along the way.

Trix alluded earlier that some at the top aren’t behind poch appointment, wonder how much/ if at all it will change if he goes today/tomorrow.
Any new manager will likely wait untill end of the season as they’re in a job. Poch is free and ready to go probably.

Tell me more about him...?
Plays 4-2-3-1, has managed well in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and now running away with the Portuguese league with Benfica and doing brilliantly in the Champions League, carries himself well too

Guess we'll find out who wants Poch and how bad because that's the one . Especially mid season

Says a great deal when people are in the next manager thread during a Champions League game.

I'm so bored watching us. I'm usually looking at something on the phone while we play these days. It's so sad when I pay loads for BT and Sky to watch us. I feel really sorry for those who waste their time and money going to the stadium.

Any attacking coach who is able to get this team to get shots on target. Or string 3 passes together. Don't have much faith in Paratici in Levy to bring the right person though.
