Back to the Future was released in 1985 I believe.

Footballers born in 1985:

Cristiano Ronaldo;
Wayne Rooney; and

Luka Modric :)

Looks like we are working on a Player Coach...

Someone made a good point on a pof recently that rather than pay a DOF a fortune use that money to invest in the biggest and best analytics department in football with lawyers and agents doing the negotiations for players.

I guess you would still need a manager in the sense of bringing it all together but I'm not sure it needs to be a high profile football one in the Paratici mould isn't Liverpools new man a data scientist?

Paratici has restructured our recruitment department though and appointed a whole new team - which I assume includes data analytics professionals.

What were we doing before that? Going through an album of panini stickers, got, got, need, need... and picking our targets based on whether they were stuck down properly?

Both our management and SC posters. I haven't seen his name mentioned much on here. Is he not rated?
I don't think anyone has much of an idea at all as to who's being considered by the club and he's had plenty of people talk about him here on SC.

Apparently Poch has rejected us a few days ago - I wonder if the reason this hasn’t happened is due to Fabio and maybe him stepping down may be an unlock now?

Can definitely see a Chelsea / Potter / Nagelsmann / Spurs merry-go-round on the horizon

Chelsea sack potter, get Nagelsmann, and spurs still looking around for a new manager months after.....

You could have taken spurs out the merry-go-round and been correct!

If we end up with Potter at the end of this I'll be raging :ROFLMAO:

Out of all the Chelsea cast-offs he's by far the worst one.

Never rated him.

I thought he was very impressive pre-chelsea. Whilst we can cut him a degree of slack at Chelsea his performance is pretty worrying. They are rubbish and don't seem to be improving despite more time to work.

As much as i don’t blame him completely for what’s going on at Chelsea I also don’t think we should go near him if/when he gets sacked.

But you can see the ideas, the football.

I'm absolutely certain, that if they had a proper striker they'd be flying much higher.

I'll make a prediction now. If Potter is still manager next season, they'll be in the title race.
