Not sure what you mean

But a managing director of football or DOF at Spurs is redundant because DL intervenes anyway.

What the likes of Conte, Mourinho, Poch etc., want is the final word on players (understanding financial limits). Too many layers just helps muddy the waters at Spurs. The system that works well at many clubs has failed with us because of DL and I don’t see it getting any better
I may may missed your point initially, so apologies for that.

I get that Levy does love to meddle but at least a DoF is someone with knowledge of the game in his ear.
Without that he'd totally he left to his own devices and that would be terrible!

As much as i don’t blame him completely for what’s going on at Chelsea I also don’t think we should go near him if/when he gets sacked.

I don’t think it will be a problem. After his experience at Chelsea, he’d never join Spurs

Would be well set up with the compensation Chelsea will have to pay him and staff if they sack, too.

Interesting that people who rarely post like to dish out neg reps. In fact looking at them I suspect it is one person with several accounts as the amount of posts are pretty much the same.

Anyway it keeps you off the streets
I fear that I may be missing your point here too?
Who is this swipe aimed at? I'm pretty sure multiple accounts aren't allowed on here and is most likely a bannable offence.

But you can see the ideas, the football.

I'm absolutely certain, that if they had a proper striker they'd be flying much higher.

I'll make a prediction now. If Potter is still manager next season, they'll be in the title race.

Could definitely be the case. But you've got to get to that point whilst doing your best with what you have. They should be doing better even without a proper striker.

Totally agree, you can see the patterns of play and coaching in there. I rate the guy and wouldn’t be disappointed if we ended up with him.

I’d be surprised if Potter makes it til end of season. We need to act, before they beat us to targets

Feels like it's written in the stars that Chelsea will sack Potter and replace him with Nagelsmann. Honestly, the sooner the better so we can move on. All aboard the Slot train. Choo choo!

I see many of our managerial candidates are seemingly turning us down for the currently unavailable Chelsea job .....

If we end up with Potter at the end of this I'll be raging :ROFLMAO:

Out of all the Chelsea cast-offs he's by far the worst one.

Never rated him.
He did a great job at Brighton but so far he's done a poor one at Chelsea. Buildup and press are both substandard. It takes time but signs are not good.

Having about 47 players in your squad doesn't help

We can’t really do much if our targets want to wait until the summer to assess their options.
If Nagelsmann wants to wait until summer we need to move on. Pretty likely a bigger job will come around for him and we can't afford to be searching all the way through June like we did in 2021.

He chose this shitshow. Chelsea have been bringing in players with no discernible plan.

Felix when you have Havertz? Nkunku to come? No idea what they’re trying to do.

Hopefully Boehly's pride gets the better of him and he doesn't want to hire the guy who was replaced by the guy he fired :ROFLMAO:

Yes I know I'm clutching at a whole bunch of straws
