So many examples today of individual greed. Off the top of my head, Defoe, Adebayor & Walker all choosing to go for personal glory when a simple lay off would have presented a true goal-scoring chance.

Good result, but that's really pissed me off :?

That performance/result is why we will not win the league, it isn't however any indication on us finishing 4th, QPR at home is.

We NEED a fucking centre back, sold ourselves short as ever.

Sort the fucking training out and stop the fucking injuries.

Deserved a point at best today so cant really have any complaints. Would help if VdV, Ade and Bale had turned up and Parker looked a bit sudued in midfield too.

ahh said at half time livermoore should have been shunted to the right instead of trying to play luka there, all their attacks were coming down walkers side

wouldve assumed redknapp would have learnt this after arsenal game. ohwell still undefeated in 5

I don't we played quite as bad as some people make out. I think we should have won. Granted it was a close game but we made poor decisions when we could and should have put the game to bed. Defoe and Modric shooting when players were unmarked. Adebayor and Walker not passing when we had them on their heels and players (defoe, ade). Then we would have probably run out comfortable winners.

Until Newcastle scored, we had no urgency about our game. The Penalty was the only shot on goal in the first half.

A draw at Newcastle is not a bad result, what pisses me off is the fact if we had actually put some urgency in our game, I think we could have won it.

Too many sloppy passes, gave the ball away far to often and too easily, didn;t even looking threatening in the final 3rd until we got a kick up the arse after their first goal.

Poor poor team display, although some player did have a good game, but with my poor quality stream it was hard to see who it was.

We had the chances to make it 3 - 1 but we were far too greedy! If some of our players looked up and played the ball square, we would be celebrating 3 points!

Great goal from Defoe but ffs he should've passed it to Livermore on the second chance.

and Pavlyuchenko? What the fuck.

Two great chances to get a 3rd and we made the wrong decision.

Ade should have put in defoe on the left of the box, didn't, squandering the chance for a 3-1 chance.

Then defoe could have passed at 2-2 to livermore or ade and chose to shoot.

Bad decision making cost us

Lucky to get the draw. Midfield was shocking on the ball and were outplayed by Newcastle's four.

Disappointing that we couldn't hold on to the lead but it was a tough game and a point each is not a bad outcome, especially as we were playing away from home.

Nice to see Defoe hit the back of the net again too.

Yep was so frustrating, all three of those were such wasted opportunities, especially the Defoe one who only had to square to Livermore for an open goal.

That shows how important Ledley King is to Spurs. I'm convinced we'd have won if he'd stayed on.

I'm convinced if we actually put some effort into the game and give away so many sloppy passes we would have one.

Apart from the penalty, did we actually have a shot in the first half?

Very disappointing to drop the lead twice today, although if I take my Spurs bias hat off I would say on the balance of play over 90mins Newcastle were worth a draw.

Ledley going off reduced our defense to something just short of a shambles, although this was not helped by Scott Parker having his worst game in a Spurs shirt and Modric on the right not helping a defensively poor Walker.

Livermore did a decent job but he is no where near as good as Sandro and we could have really used him in the middle today.

Kaboul was my man of the match (ironic considering I said our defense was a shambles) without him I feel we would have lost.

Big opportunity missed there, but Newcastle finished the stronger and come final whistle I was actually happy to hear it.

Adebayor should have played Defoe in before newcastle scored and Defoe maybe should have looked up instead of shooting late on (although he had a good opportunity to score again and I wouldn't have expected him to pass)

Good but not the open goal that either Livermore or Adebayor had if he knocked a 5 yard square pass :bang:

I know it's early doors but I think the title may be beyond us now, looks like it's only going to be a top 4 finish. Gutted ;)
