The Nou Camp is way down in the list of great stadiums. Yes it has history but it is ageing badly and is quite a dump.

Fair enough, but I guess it depends on your ‘great stadium’ criteria. I can’t think of too many stadiums I’d rather visit given the choice.

Re Camp Nou this is from 2016 but don't know if and when they are going to start

Thanks to those replies about getting away from Twickenham , thought it might be a problem getting away .
Always thought the criticism about getting to and from The Lane a bit unfair , it does depend on where you live and you just make some allowance for the transport times. For those wanting to travel south by train doesn't walking 15 minutes to Silver St Stn. and getting the train there make more sense than all the queues at WHL stn..

Just found a later update , bit jealous of their trophy cabinet.
Plans for the renovation of Barcelona's iconic Camp Nou stadium have been altered, while work is set to begin in May 2020 and last until 2023.

Getting away from Tottenham is easier than most large stadiums.

I have always thought that but then I have never lived that far away. It's just you often hear criticism from commentators on radio etc of how hard it is to get there but who in their right mind drives up the Seven Sisters Rd and then the High Rd. Whenever you hear of team coaches caught in traffic on Seven Sisters Rd like Man Utd about three seasons ago I think why stay in a west end hotel just find a decent hotel in Hertfordshire and approach from the north.

I’ve never subscribed to it being bad. Now I go to Tottenham Hale after the game. There’s been queues to get in a couple of times but they’re always moving.

I live near Clapham junction and can be back there in an hour. That’s not too bad if you ask me and that includes the walk to the station from the ground.

You will be laughing if crossrail 2 is ever built , Clapham Junction to Northumberland Park in half an hour or so ?? , supposed to be by 2030 probably best to add 10 years to that.

Re the transport system at the new stadium , the new station at Meridian Water is a one mile walk from the ground yet it doesn't seem to have been utilised in easing the pressure on Northumberland Park on match days. All I can find is a half hourly service to Stratford , you would think the Mayor , TFL or Greater Anglia would get their act together and provide a better service especially on event days to ease the pressure on other transport links. They try to encourage people to use public transport and then at a brand new station don't provide any.

Good post. They need to have Stratford trains every 10 mins. Whack on extra 341's that whip people off the high road and there's plenty of folk who would get buses to Manor House if they stacked them around Bluecoats bus stop. I'd have it sorted in a week.

So many tickets available for Red Star. Going to be embarrassing!

Definitely overpriced the tickets. Shame really

I suspect it’s in all stands. The buy 3 guest tickets email has gone out. Good news for me anyway as it means the annoying season ticket holders in the row in front of me won’t bother to turn up.
I'm not going to that one unfortunately, maybe you sit behind me, you never know.
