Now don't get me wrong i didn't think Pavlyuchenco was world class or anything but one thing you could definetly say, was that our man was clinical. I always knew when Pav got the ball he would usually stick it in the onion bag and his goal record was pretty impressive considering he didn't start every game.


I look at our pathetic strikeforce of Dempsey, Defoe and Adebayor and i just wish we could swap Ade or Dempsey for Pav right now. We could bloody do with his goal scoring instincts because our trio couldn't even score in a brothel So frustrating as a spurs fan to see such a good team with such a weak strike force. Out of all 3, i much prefer Defoe because atleast he looks dangerous and makes the effort to muster a shot on goal. Dempsey and Adebayor are a complete waste of space and i truely hope we get rid of both in the summer.....COYS!!!

He clearly loved Spurs, and the fans. He also went on a purple patch at just the right time when we qualified for the Champions League, and scored some fucking crackers too.

However to say that we miss him? No. Dont let your personal feelings on him cloud the fact that he was very average

Exactly my first thought. This thread is scandalous false advertising.

And no to Pav. Precisely for the reason that very sporadically he was capable of being brilliant. Then did eff all for the next 3 months. As in, he did absolutely nothing. Literally. Didn't even change facial expression. Zilch. Drove me up the wall. Far more than JD ever has and Christ knows I've lost enough hair because him down the yrs. Nice enough guy, had a kind of endearing goofy smile, if you like that sort of thing but no. I don't miss the bouts of extreme rage he provoked in me.
