Who hangs an umbrella on a bike stand and walks away?
A mother fucking boss does.
That’s who.
Who hangs an umbrella on a bike stand and walks away?
Think this is just one we'll have to wait on. It's clear they're in talks at the moment, I doubt anything concrete even could come out until after the Shkendija match, maybe not even until tomorrow.
Levy’s #2 in transfer talks and our technical director, Steve Hitchen, has been in Milan for 2 days meeting with Inter and Skriniar’s agent in the middle of a pandemic where another shutdown of the game is getting to be highly likely. There is no way that happens without Inter moving off their demands. I’d imagine €40-45m with clauses bringing it to €50-55m will be the final price.
Was that really the case over the entirety of Poch's tenure here though Trix? I mean, did he really insist "it was Stambouli or no one"? Or "Fazio or no one?" Or "N'gie or no one"? It seems to me Pochetinno accepted plenty of cheap compromises during his 5 years as manager so to suggest he was only ever inflexible in the transfer market is demonstrably questionable and renders him a convenient fall guy for previous transfer failings. Whatever the reasons though mate, it's brilliant to see a more proactive and targeted approach to buying footballers. I really hope it continues in the future. This window is shaping up to be one of the best - if not the best - we've ever had under ENIC.Skriniar and a striker, in addition to what we've already bought, would be an unbelievable window!
You forgot the old...Sorry @Archibald&Crooks but there's a lot more to it than that.
Does player play in top 5 leagues? If no, not good enough.
Has player been linked in media to elite European teams? No clearly shit
Has player ever posted about Arsenal on social media? Yes ... Do not sign!
Doesn't open till 19:30Can we call Ristorante Da Berti and ask them to put the phone near the bald guy?
JJ said on Twitter the other week that Stambouli was a Baldin purchase, but he actually bought the wrong player as his English wasn’t great, he could remember who Baldin was actually trying to buy though.
I doubt we will see another shutdown for Football. There is too much money involved.

I genuinely hope this gets zero funny ratings and crashes and burns like it should.Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura were baldin' purchases too
It became even funnier after reading your wish for it to failI genuinely hope this gets zero funny ratings and crashes and burns like it should.
I think the only way football survives another shutdown is going back into a project restart type bubble and doing so now. Domestic competitions can go on with rapid testing across all levels. International and continental competitions scrapped for the year with all focus going toward figuring out a way to hold the Euros in the summer.I doubt we will see another shutdown for Football. Well, according to the experts, the proper ones, not the dangerous SC ones in the Corona thread, they are hopeful that we'll have a vaccine in 2021. If so, then you can write off this season pretty much as far as fans attending and all the other stuff goes, whatever it is they need to do, they need to do it now rather than acting reactively when, as is usual with the football authorities, it's too late.I think the only way football survives another shutdown is going back into a project restart type bubble and doing so now. Either way, money will be lost. The sports governing bodies, national football associations, nations governments and the tv companies are all going to have to come together to ensure survival of the sport.
This definitely needs to be accompanied by a sad tromboneChristian Eriksen and Lucas Moura were baldin' purchases too
Got fuck all to do with money. There's a lot of money in tourism, air travel, the entertainments industry, exhibitions etc, etc. The list is endless.
