Wouldn't this make having Gedson on loan here pointless? Bale and Skriniar (you'd assume) would be first 11 players thus not enabling us to have Gedson part of the match day squad? (If this isn't the case is there a site someone could point me in the direction of to make all this crystal clear)

I generally feel like it's pointless anyway. I sometimes forget he's here.

I do have to question what Gedson is bringing to the team. Certainly what he brings to the starting 11. Brozovic would certainly offer significantly more.

@Dean As above, it's probably what a lot of people maybe thinking, perhaps Brozovic is one of the 'multiples' we've been talking to Inter about but more cash would be needed for such a deal.

I think you're only allowed to register 2 loans per season. Gedson loaned last season so shouldn't matter. I may be wrong and I cant be bothered to look for the official rules

If we’re offering say a 10m loan fee with a 40m obligation, it could be a way of getting towards their price.

Don’t see Inter having a massive problem as their books will show a guaranteed 10+40m coming in and most transfers are done in instalments. Inter even structured Eriksen’s deal as such and that was only 20m
