I reckon not, and that sports witness would be laughed off as a report even if it was positive.Whilst I agree with that, had they have posted a positive piece then the response would have been much different.

Should you want positive news on Milan Skriniar moving to Tottenham, then Gazzetta dello Sport aren’t fulfilling your wishes on Wednesday morning. The Italian newspaper have an article explaining that despite the defender ‘being given the OK’ to sign for the Premier League club, the transfer is...sportwitness.co.uk

I had not realised, i only noticed the vast amount of derision it received. I bow to your supreme knowledge of the toilet publications and will revere you forever more. Happy?Whilst I agree with that, had they have posted a positive piece then the response would have been much different.
This is really important to you isn’t it? Fess up, you are the sports witness aren’t you ?Fucking hell, people again taking shots at Sports Witness who do nothing but translate articles and make them easy to understand. If you're going to comment on stuff you haven't read, at least make it convincing.
Add to that it's the final week. The more complicated the better for these sites. I wouldn't take any notice. Sky tend to say a deal is off and on multiple times on deadline day especially. These websites and twitter pages only get hits if a deal has twists and turns, nobody is going to click if the articles say it's going smoothly.

Ultimately it’s so immaterial whether we make this signing today, tomorrow or on Monday that it’s really not worth getting too invested about any reports, positive or negative, as we don’t have long to go until we know either way anyway and any new signing won’t be playing this weekend regardless.Add to that it's the final week. Really? I thought it was deadly serious and made a deep, complex point accessible only to those who’d studies Plotinus, Sartre and Bagpuss.Odd response
You’re right, of course - but we will all stubbornly sit on this emotional rollercoaster in the name of masochistic delight until it grinds to a halt on Monday night.Ultimately it’s so immaterial whether we make this signing today, tomorrow or on Monday that it’s really not worth getting too invested about any reports, positive or negative, as we don’t have long to go until we know either way anyway and any new signing won’t be playing this weekend regardless.
I imagine it has some bearing, but then if we somehow contrived to lose I’d still be disappointed if we did not at least reinforce to front.I think the reality is, our transfer business will lost vastly different depending on how Thursday goes. It is not a given that we win and our business is acting with that mentality.
exactly this, especially with sky as we get closer to the deadline, theyre looking to create a narrative to drive engagement rather than reporting on the actual facts
Oh of course. I fully intend to called Levy an unambiguous bald goblin at least five times between now and tomorrow morning should we not at the minimum announce one signing today ?You’re right, of course - but we will all stubbornly sit on this emotional rollercoaster in the name of masochistic delight until it grinds to a halt on Monday night.
