I kinda liked it. Most of the players in our team have no fire in their belly. When they're getting results, they're on top of the world. But when the going gets tough, far too many of them go missing. Jose would have noticed this, and is probably doing his level best to get them to actually put their asses on the line. But for some of them, that's just not in their mental make-up. So, yeah, I'm sure he like seeing the captain, actually acting like a captain, and blowing up on one of the players. Shows that they care.
Also if Lloris hasn't said anything then Son would yet again have got away with avoiding a challenge and nothing would have been learned. Now everyone realises what Jose has been saying. Love it.

Poch did not get to start the rebuild. We signed Lo Celso and NDombele never settled in. Then there was Levy’s interference in transfers and signing Sessingon and Jack Clarke. That would have been £40m we could have spent on full backs.
Fucking hell, £40m on Jack Clarke and Ryan Sessegnon, let that sink in. No wonder Poch wasn't happy he didn't get a player he wanted but instead got Sess (3 years of scouting) and Clarke (shown nothing even on loan).

An extra 10 mil and you could have probably just gotten Chilwell.

Where does league form sit in a table from when he took over .?
I’m not anti or pro Jose. Just want to see where he sits with a team he inherited who were ... well awful for 1.5 years and on a decline in individual performance .
There’s gotta be a table somewhere ?

Thankyou dear sir.
5th in form since he took the job.
. I take that from the previous form with a deteriorating squad .

Neither Wolves or Man Utd had their main striker missing for half of the games either, we have to remember. Man U lost rashford about the same time we lost Son so they probably cancel themselves out. If Harry had played in those games after Sonny’s injury you’d think we would of picked up some more points. There were plenty of chances missed by Dele that Kane would of finished in his sleep.

We aren’t the same team/club as three years ago. Are some fans asking for too much perhaps?

More chances missed by Moura then Alli who was also injured

Sneaking a win at home to the team in 10th? Is not going to change my mind after witnessing the mist negative boring dross ive seen at spurs. It was only a few weeks ago he was getting schooled by Chris wilder.

We have issues with the playing squad but I absolutely don't think that this is the best you could get out of them.
Wot?

I honestly can't understand how ppl are expecting expansive easy on the eye football...

- Players low on confidence after a dreadful 18 months
- Players probably demotivated due to years of near misses.
- Most creative player gone (Eriksen)
- Most dominant midfield gone (Dembele Wanyama)
- Most dynamic fullbacks gone (Rose Walker)
- Decent RB back up gone (Trippier)
- Ageing CBs (Jan & Toby)
- Our new midfield saviour proving hard work and lacking fitness/effort (Ndombele)
- No DM in the entire squad that can free up our attackers
- No rotation striker for Kane
- Square players such as Sissoko and Winks being asked to dominate and move the ball around like Busquets and Xavi
- Lack of back up full backs who let us rotate the one-attacking FB option
- A big player struggling persistently with hamstring injuries (Alli)
- A player who could offer a lot but breaks down with injuries far too frequently (Lamela)
- A team lacking in cohesion and key parts.
- A team who haven't been aggressive defensively for yonks
- A team who have been far too easy to play through for yonks.

These issues cannot be fixed over a few months. They take at least 3-4 windows and lots of time on the training field.

Jose gets my patience until he's had some of this.

I just think when you have a person managing the team earning 10+ million pounds per year you expect to see more than side ways passing to inept wingbacks, followed by a backwards pass back to the CB and repeat.

I think so yes . How the manager is doing is Clear in black and white with an average playing staff. Mix that up and see where the team is Jan 2021 or next summer . He’s not going anywhere .

It's okay to pine after the same thing from the out going manager though?

Same players, same problems.

Poch was right, glaringly so, about one aspect at this club. People continue to pile on Mourinho though even though he suffers the same problems the outgoing incumbent did.

Just over 7 months he’s been in & we’ve seen no real signs of improvement, fanbase split, calling out of players in interviews & playing ‘shit hanging off the end of a stick’ brand of football. This is mirroring his time at MUFC but all within a year as opposed to his 3rd season with them.

Everything I feared would happen within a few years has been accelerated and was exactly the reason why I was and still am opposed to his appointment. What have you done Daniel Levy ?

We could be top of the form table for all I care, but not by playing this unpalatable style of football

Long gone are the days of free flowing football, he has to get us scoring more goals somehow, every game we are letting our opponents within a chance

We have countless opportunities to play it. We are just so wasteful going forward it makes me crazy.

If you've seen no real sign of improvement from where we were when Poch left then I don't know what to tell you ?
