It’s how I want to spend my last hours. The big question is, should the football season get postponed for a couple of weeks, how many times can this thread go round in circles discussing the same points?

Sorry mate been posting in both threads recently, my bad.Come on mate. Keep it to the ENIC thread!
Good time to make a change, like an international break !! ?The big question is, should the football season get postponed for a couple of weeks, how many times can this thread go round in circles discussing the same points?
I believe JM will have us on the relegation track next season.
I still believe Poch could have turned it around. If Poch had carried on at the rate he was going we would have been in relegation trouble this season.
Take away those 3 successive and highly fortunate wins against Norwich, Villa and Man City and replace with a couple of draws and we would still be very much in the mix. I do agree, however, that it was almost certainly going the same way with Poch too.If Poch had carried on at the rate he was going we would have been in relegation trouble this season.
The only fault ? blimeyThe only fault I have with Jose is playing vorm against Norwich , that was utterly bizzare
Looks like vinny samways with his pint checking the SC threads for who or what to disagree with next.
I still believe Poch could have turned it around.
And furthermore, how has Simeone turned Athletico into a well-drilled machine? Because he's had time to do so.So Liverpool's season hits the rocks in a period where they lose Henderson and Alisson to injury.
But injuries aren't a valid excuse...
Note the style of play from Liverpool's opposition tonight too. Wonder if the Ateltico fans are saying how lucky they were right now? Wonder if Simeone is a 'coward' for his wait and see style. There are multiple ways for winning a football match. Are Spanish journos calling Simeone lucky for his dated passive/reactive style? (Unsurprisingly some of the serial Jose bashers in the media are creaming over Simeone tonight)
Granted Ateltico are superbly coached defensively and have a great spirit and motivation that we can only dream of at this moment in time, but it's certainly food for thought.
Poch did well and achieved much while at Tottenham. Sacked in an act of stupidity, and still his reputation soars.I think the fans have consistently over emphasised the importance of the Manager over the quality of the squad.
Yes Managers do make a big difference but you can only work with what you have and so many of our Managers have been sacked when the true cause was poor player acquisition.
Instead of sacking Managers we need to fix the real problem this time.
Mourinho hasn't done well but he is a sore loser and he's inherited a squad with one injured striker. Buy the right players and he has a pretty decent track record. I would never had sacked Pochettino because I wouldn't have undermined him in the first place. But now Mourinho is here and failing then we have to look at the bigger picture.
Hopefully Pochettino was the last scapegoat but I wouldn't put money on it.
He didn't want to. There was no urge. He would have needed a Levy driven miracle to stay. Maybe it COULD have been figured out, but it certainly wasn't like Poch was sitting there being his happy and harmonious self wanting to stay.I still believe Poch could have turned it around.
