I suspect Liverpool are on the slide. They have made some expensive purchases but I am not sure they are as good as those they are replacing.

Video going round of about 20 of their fans battering a lone West Ham fan, self defence no doubt…..

Yea and football goes in cycles, they were an absolute machine 2 seasons ago but TAA now can't defend, Robertson is older and more injury prone and off form and these 2 were their main creative outlet so this is effecting them massively, Henderson and Milner's legs have gone. Mane is a huge huge miss for them as he used to stretch teams so well, Bobby.F is getting older and the relationship between their front 3 isn't what it was and add to that sometimes teams get tired of the same voice, much like Poch after 5 years got all he could out of our group, perhaps this is the start of a bit of a decline for Klopp at Liverpool, it doesn't mean he's a bad manager all of sudden just that maybe they now need a new voice.

Lets hope so anyway as can't stand Klopp.

Teams have also figured out how to stop their crossed from deep which were so important to their success

Duncan Alexander is so good to follow on socials when he just purely posts stats and doesn't try to do banter.

We really need to be beating them. They’re there for the taking.
I know they’ve qualified but I wonder if they’ll put a strong side out against Napoli?

Winning the group is often a huge advantage in the draw, making sure to avoid Bayern, Real and PSG in the next round. And given what happened in Naples I expect them to be looking for revenge.

They have to win by five to overturn Napoli's advantage but I think they'll try.

You say that, but if we have similar first half to recent games they'll blow us away regardless of their own inadequacies. We must improve our start if we want to win.

Let’s hope so and let’s hope they play their best side and still lose. Knock their confidence even more

I do think Liverpool are suffering from what we suffered the season after we lost the CL - its just that mental issue after doing so much the season before coupled with needing to rebuild that midfield.

That midfield - hell even we have a better midfield in Bentancur and PEH...

They have one way of playing and its actually pretty easy to nullify and cause them a lot of issues. Yesterday Leeds won the ball relatively high up and then beat them quite easily on the counter with pace.

Liverpool were a whopping 18 points better off at this point in the 2019-20 season, when they won their only PL title. Pochettino was sacked 12 games into the 2019-20 season with only 2 points fewer than Liverpool currently have after 12 games, despite having led us through our most successful spell during the PL era in the preceding years. It will be interesting to see whether Liverpool's board is more patient with Klopp than we were with Poch, as I don't really see any signs of them turning their form around within the next few weeks.
