This is why I'm not completely sold on Gallagher, I was watching him today and he offered no incisive passes or anything useful at all really.

Good player, but not sure if he has enough quality on the ball.

Yep, have to agree. Hope we keep a wide berth in January

But he looked full of quality also on the ball during his season at Palace. Had we been trying to sign him the summer after that season we'd be universally saying this was the exact sort of player our midfield needed. So what's changed?

He's at a complete mess of a club is what's changed. I don't think any player currently at Chelsea is playing anywhere near to their full potential.
Maybe it's the club, maybe not.

One season at Palace isn't enough for me. 3 goals in 45 appearances for Chelsea isn't great for a box to box midfielder.

I don't think he's a bad player, but let's presume he's being bought as an 8, is he really better than what we have?

Sarr, Bentancur, Skipp, Hoijberg and Lo Celso.

I just struggle to see what he brings to us that we don't already have.

I agree I wouldn't take him as our 8 over Bentancur or Sarr, and the way we play I think he'd be best suited there, but I think he's a better player than he's showing for Chelsea now.

I watched the MOTD highlights and I can't see how you can blame Poch for some of those misses today. They cut through Brentford a decent number of times and players missed golden opportunities to score. The system is seeing players receiving the ball in shooting positions but not finishing.

Much like when Potter was there.

They have spent over a billion pounds and still don't have a decent goalkeeper or anyone that can score on the regular basis.

That is a failure beyond anything I can imagine.

Perez sent off but I don’t know why. Doesn’t seem like him, he was always quite placid. It must be a shit place to be.

Wonderful.

Cracking under the pressure. They know after PSG they can’t really afford to fail at another super club with unlimited money. Chelsea was a bad move for them.

These wankers managed to win a grand total of 4 trophies until they loaded themselves with debt (and were hours from going under) all for a couple of FA Cups and Cup Winners Cups and then got bought up by Vlad's mate.

They're simply returning to their natural level.

That bloke's such a twat that even my 15 year old son was taking the piss out of him last weekend.
I 100% disagree with you mate. That guy is as smart as they come. He is the first one to decipher the plan. Spurs actually resigned Poch and he’s executing his mission. Just hope that the owners don’t catch on to that.
On a serious note though, you can clearly see he’s locked away on his bedroom and his parents have no idea he’s online being a twat.

COYP (come on you poch) relegate the bastards!!!
Once a Spur always a Spur 👍🏾

I had a Chelsea fan in the pub last night, trying to say that they've always been a big club.
Upon further questioning it turned out that his memory only went back as far as the Ken Bates days but that's probably when he started supporting them.

Seems like some of their fans are abandoning them already because I work in a charity shop and this has just been donated...🤣

Whilst I agree for the most part, Nkunku’s injury pre season was a big blow as he looked a big talent at RBL - and would likely have helped their goal tally.

I reckon they’d be doing a lot better with Broja up top.

He came in and instantly started scoring but then got injured I think ?

Jackson could come good and probably just needs to settle, but Broja at the present is their better option up top.
