Risking my balls for going off topic, my mate set up one of the first Sunderland Fan sites YEARS ago, Ellis Short (yes the OWNER) joined the site under a pysdonym just to chat with fans and see what was being said about the club...he was active daily in there for about 6 months!

That's where your quite incorrect, Posted some stadium ITK with no names or anyway of tracing and the source was hunted down within 12 hours by members of the club warning he would be kicked off site if he were to do it again

Not at all. Just means sometimes stuff can't be posted depending on where it has come from. Most of my stuff comes from agents so it's easier for me to post. Occasionally I get bits from someone closer to home though and that's a far more delicate situation.

Thanks for that Trix. I hope it didn't come across as criticism of the ITK's, it certainly wasn't mean't to be. I think I was just trying to get my tiny head around the thought that the club hunt down those letting out the info. On one hand I can understand it, on the other it's a bit harsh, and risky for those who disseminate it.

I can't think of any way that releasing information would be beneficial to the club unless it was dis-information or a smoke screen. In light of some historical events it seems absolutely certain that the club work very hard to keep their powder dry and any leaks are a major pain. The ITKs stick their necks out to bring us this stuff to satisfy our impatience. Much appreciated guys.

Thanks Trix! I love reading about how ITK works as much as the ITK itself. Wish there was more of it with chances to ask general questions etc. Obviously without compromising anything- just the general process, do you meet up in a Little Chef etc. etc.
