Would love njie to get 20 mins at the end. He will be a reasonably unknown quantity to most of their team and could cause some bother

I thought we play quite well against Utd and Stoke and we're unlucky not to be on 4 points at least.
Leicester have done well.
But didn't spam have a player sent off?
Anyway I think we will win.
Same team that started against stoke.

Really? We were ok against United without creating much, definitely deserved at least a point though and if Eriksen took his chance and it was the only goal of the game I don't think too many people would complain that we won but I'm assuming you think the 3 points should have come against Stoke. Like I said in another post, if anything we were lucky to get way with that Stoke game with a point. Deserved the lead going into half time but we completely fell apart in the second half and lost control of the game, could easily have lost that 3-2. What's the point in playing well in one half when you play so poorly in the 2nd? Was poor from us in that regard.

Hope I am wrong but think we will get beat today, it's all about mentality of the players as someone has already mentioned we have no leaders and that worries me. If we do lose I can see us heading for a 2 or 3 points from 8 scenario and some ugly reactions from the fans.
Don't agree with this whole "no leaders" meme that gets bandied out time to time.

We have a national team captain for a very good national team here.

We have several players who were formerly captains on their previous teams.

Then we have players who stand the fuck up when called upon like Kane or Mason whether it's digging a boot in or standing up for a teammate.

Can we hire a coach which simply stop us collapsing and allows the other side (any side) to dominate and we turn into a Sunday league team. Being 3-0 up and joking about losing used to be funny but I feel I'm getting old.

Obviously supporting the team today but don't want to see same crap different week come out. I know things don't change overnight but I need to see signs. Dier at cm is not a positive sign. Nor is dembele on the wing.

As others have said hopefully clint and pritch can change that, as I've been more excited about watching pritch and the English pogba grow than anything else over the summer. Young and news time I know.

Here's hoping we don't have a turn up and see what happens attitude as always.

We've had that before, but fans complain because "to dare is to do" apparently means we should never concern ourselves with defense. It's kind of like how Americans bring up the constitution to argue points that barely have a shred of connection.

I'd say the last 30 minutes we were poor.
And I agree we could have lost.
But the flip side we could have been easily 3 0r 4 up before the last 30.

I thought we won the most points from as losing position last season.
I don't remember Poch's team being 4 nil up and losing.

We didn't play well against Stoke, they had more clear cut chances and should have won.
They did not have more clear cut chances.

Most of their chances were crosses or dead ball situations for headers - ie. the toughest chance to convert if you follow the stats.

We created plenty by putting players through on goal like Mason and Chadli that brought either a poor touch or a good save.

I think we created more chances and more of better quality. Through on goal is far better than a cross for a header.

Mason is definitely emerging as captain material. What we lack perhaps is the senior pro who combines blood and guts with people skills and a bit of hard earned nous.

Plenty of teams do this when the other team begins to push absolutely everything forward.

What we need is some pace to threaten on the counter in those situations.

Has absolutely nothing to do with leadership.

Interesting to hear your take on things fella since both games this season when the opposition have scored there appears to be a distinct lack of confidence within the team as a whole.

Ion the subject of leaders, thought last year Bentaleb looked like a future captain, so far this season he's looked anything but

Yep. Confidence is, as Python say, 'Vayfer thin'.

Ah yes, the whole "lack of confidence" a totally unquantifiable measurement.

Even though when the game was 2-2 we started generating some pretty nice chances, especially from Dembele. Didn't look like a lack of confidence to me.

Call it experience then. We need to become better under pressure if we want to meet our ambitions. I accept that it hard for young player to do that as they lack the experience of how to see out those situations, but this is exactly why we need one or two players with experience.

This is also why I think Poch has mainly been buying players from the Prem. I fully agree with you when it come to pave though. However I think this is one of the things our squad needs, not the only thing.

I think we could win this one. A bit of core confidence from Leicester and our players have to start playing soon. 1-3!

Leicester looked very good last week. Vardy was unplayable. Walker could have serious problems today with him.

Expect a tough game to be honest. I'd take a scrappy one nil win to be honest.
