2 good games from them and 2 poor games from us thus far and people are acting like we're taking on Barca. We'll be ok. 1-3 spurs. COYS.

We don't win today and we're in trouble. Seems crazy this early but United will beat Newcastle and already be too far ahead for us to have any chance of catching them if we don't win.

With due respect, we are not in trouble. I want a victory or a good performance as much as anyone but the season is long. It's healthier to avoid hysteria.

any team that doesn't win any of their first 3 games is in trouble. Our futures get difficult once the Europa league starts, and traditionally our form dips then anyway. Given we now have a much smaller squad that periods's going to be even trickier. If we don't start picking up wins quickly, this season could very difficult indeed. We've all seen in the past how easy it is to get sucked into a bad run, and given our very young side and obvious lack of leaders, it is concerning. Today is a massive game.

I cant believe the negativity in here and the seemingly over confidence on the Leicester boards. Im going to stick my neck out and say that not only will we win today but we'll win well, we've just got to control the tempo of the game and get our big players on the ball.

Yes. I understand. But you are trading in its, buts and maybes.. Try turning those round in a positive rather than negative way.

I have a ticket and I'm lying in bed contemplating whether to go or not. This is the first time in over 20 years I've not considered going to the game..

Really? 2 games in to a season when we lost to a Man Utd team whoe everyone expects to finish above us anyway and have invested hundreds of millions and then a poor 20 minutes against Stoke.

It's still early days. People have become hysterical, negative and sensationalist on here. I'm not meaning to attack you, but the general underlying tone and non appreciataion of context by many posters has started to really frustrate.

I'm not in a position of real optimism, but I can see how early in the season we are and the huge promise of several players we have in our ranks also with the understanding that we will bring more players in.

Far too early to be so despondent.

I agree mate, and some are being too negative, but I also think its realistic to point out that if we don't win today next Saturday against Everton is going to bring some pressure, there is no doubt about that.

The League is so difficult now that giving away head starts to all your competitors and expecting to play catch up, on all of them, is just not going to happen. And that's what could, potentially, happen if we fail to win one of the next two IMO.

Sounds ridiculous I know, but could be virtually over before it really starts if we don't get going pretty quick.

Exactly. And it would hardly be a massive shock if we lost today, away at the form team in the whole league. If we do, we're in a spot of trouble. Therefore, today is massive.

Chelsea drew at home to swansea and lost away to city. Let's just try and enjoy the game before we start making plans for being in the championship next season.

complaining about 3 points before the game even starts.....smoke a joint my dude
It's not the 3 points I am referring to ... we will eventually grind out enough points over the season to be comfortable around 6th/7th without being anywhere near challenging for top 4 - resigned to that. I was referring to a win papering over the tedious over coached nature of our play. I want to see a Spurs that excites me the way it always used to, with the flair players being given the freedom to express themselves and getting fans off their seats watching Spurs again, if we can't compete with the top 4 lets at least be good to watch. Although I fear with this coach that will never be the case.

Despite what looks like an indifferent start, we are actually 1 point better off than the corresponding fixtures last season - We've turned a home defeat to Stoke into a draw and a 3-0 drubbing at Old Trafford to a narrow 1-0 defeat. On that basis, I'm going to predict we continue to progress with a good away win (y)

Hope I am wrong but think we will get beat today, it's all about mentality of the players as someone has already mentioned we have no leaders and that worries me. If we do lose I can see us heading for a 2 or 3 points from 8 scenario and some ugly reactions from the fans.
