On Talksport Jamie said not even his dad knows if Ledley is fit but it will be worth taking a chance has a win tonight is crucial etc. He also says he thinks Gomez will be ok?
Alan Brazil kept pushing him but I got the impression he knows about the same as you and me.

Would love it if Ledley is fit but Gomes was my biggest concern. King to Bassong isn't the big step down that Gomes to Alnwick is.

Yep Jamie indicated Gomes would be between the sticks and slightly reading between the lines but also that King would be playing.

I always figured Gomes would be ok, he likes to wince and whinge in pain all the time, it's his natural condition apparently.

Not sure if it's good news if King will play though...when was the last time he played with such a short recovery time between matches? A long time, I think...

I always figured Gomes would be ok, he likes to wince and whinge in pain all the time, it's his natural condition apparently.

When Gomes got transfered to PSV he was heartbroken to hear that he would have to leave his pet hedgehog 'small Phil', back in Brasil due to regulations on quarantining animals. Of course, Gomes doesn't play by the rules and decided to smuggle the small pet up his anus as he travelled. Unfortunately, due to inserting the unfortunate hedgehog up himself the wrong way it has never been able to be removed, thus resulting in our hero goalie being left in the most uncomfortable of positions. He's still world class, but he's still got a hedgehog up his arse. This is why he always seems to be wincing in pain.

Just think how good he'd be without it.

Where has Ledley been, and oxygen Tent? Anyway its a bonus if he plays, and if Gomes is fit then I will be confident.

If they are both able to play, question marks or not they should start.

I've been waiting since the weekend for some info on the Gomes injury from POTL.

Hearing that Gomes is fit and that both him and King have travelled has given me a massive boost.
