At this point I'd much rather we put all of our striker eggs in the Rodrigo basket.
Ah bollocks iPhone fingers...Rodrigo looks excellent. Would take Damiao still.

Leandro Damião is on the pitch for #Internacional (vs Vasco). If he doesn't score tonight, he'll reach 12 games in a row without scoring.
@th14Renato I think he just reached his 'normal' level again after having a couple of good seasons. A move might help but the issue is+
39m
@th14Renato ...the issue is bigger than just needing a move. He lacks proper development as he started his career in amateur football
Paulo Freitas @Cynegeticus
34m
@th14Renato I doubt he can be a top player, but Internacional made a mistake by not selling him before impossible to get 20m for him now.
Still might be worth a go at getting now. His price will be lower and he could make a decent squad player.
Kerlon:I swear no one would even be interested in him if it wasn't for the hype that being a Brazilian no.9 generates
A nice youtube compilation of about 6 flashy career highlights (most against sub standard opponents) and a brief spell in the national team while options were at an all time low for Brazilian strikers is all he has amounted to.
A few signings ago he could trade of his potential to become a top class striker - he's not produced the goods as the years have rolled past and now he's another example of an over hyped potential talent who was never as good as people thought he could be (largely based on the country of his birth)
Where's the kid who was gonna be the next big thing by balancing the ball on his nose while he ran? Leandro was a bullet dodged
I like the Anjhi guy Traore. He is so strong and would offer us something different when brute strength is needed.
I dunno - I think there's a pretty big question reallyI don't think there's any question that he's a talented player. Anyone that watches him on his game he does tend to stand out in a big way. It's just that he should have moved 2 years ago to keep his progression going. Instead, he stuck around, Internacional held on to him and look at where he's at now. His progression arrow is on a steep decline and now Internacional are holding on to a guy they know should be worth more but simply isn't because they got greedy.
Artem Dzyuba is a similar type of striker. He's had a fantastic start to the season and while he is 2 years older than Traore (25), he will probably come at a cheaper fee. That is, of course, unless Anzhi decides they will sell Traore for peanuts just to bring in additional money.
