I think he's a big talent, but I also think he's guilty of going missing when the going gets tough.

Good player no doubt about it but very much Doubt Everton will sell him hes a game changer and god knows they need that kind of player at the moment. maybe a summer target? id like us to also go for McCarthy his partnership with Barry in midfield last season was very impressive.

I like Mirallas but by the time his contract is up in 18 months he'll be almost 29 and will only have one or two good years left with no resale value either. Everton will make it difficult to sell before then so I don't see this happening.

Everton will surely sell in the summer if he's not re-signing.

Can't see them selling to us though, especially in Jan.

He's not a match of the day player! He has real quality and would be a huge addition to our squad in terms of quality, and most importantly end product.

He changed the game when he came on against West Ham in the replay last week, even though Everton were down to ten men - he was fantastic, the way he set up Lukaku's goal was of the highest quality in terms of what's expected of a wide player, not to mention his shooting ability.

And had it not been for a West Ham set piece at the end they would of, deservedly, gone through.

The only question mark over him is his fitness/injury record.

But there's no way Everton would sell to us.

He's a good player and he can be a threat but I also think he's quite selfish and does make the wrong choice to often for my liking.

It's true that Everton would have NO desire to sell to us at all. So the only question would be, has the player made it clear that he wont sign a new deal. If he has then it changes things imo. With 18 months left they know the players value is dropping all the time and at this stage they can demand good money, somewhere around the 15 million mark I'd guess.

Equally, if we are willing to give them an experienced premiership winger in Aaron Lennon, along with cash then the deal suddenly starts to look a lot more appealing, especially if neither Dortmund (languishing in relegation trouble in Germany) or Atletico are offering a player to them.

Clearly I'm going with wishful thinking as I desperately want us to sign him and have done for a long time now but I do think it could have legs if we are persistent.

He strikes me as a Pochettion type player and would fit right in at our club I think.

Don't rate him whatsoever. Moments of brilliance, many more moments of inefficiency. Think his game at WHL earlier this season was a good example, scored a wondergoal and didn't do a thing right the rest of the match.

Well imo he's not better than Chadli's all round game nor would I have him ahead of Lennon in terms of work rate however goals against Lennon isn't a contest. Everton will not sell to us anyway so I think we're better of looking elsewhere....ie Rodriguez at Southampton would be a better choice and could play as a lone striker.

Just my thoughts.
