Richys problem is that he is not a Ange type winger as they need to be able to hold width and have good 1v1 skills.

He is more suited to CF in this system but Sonny is not going to lose that spot as he is our most prolific attacker.

He is not suited to the PL, that much is obvious.

I don't expect a huge offer, if we break even, or make a loss of less then 5M, i will take it.

i think Richie will be happy for the change in environment, and he should be able to perform in a less physical league.

having a nice fat paycheck helps as well.

Offers for Veliz on loan also on the table.
As much as I'd love to see him break through, that's probably the best option for Veliz.
He needs to be playing at his age, regularly.

That's a bit of an odd comment, considering he's got to where he has in (and because of) the PL.
He may not be good enough but to say he isn't suited to the Prem isn't true.

I'm on the fence with this lad too. Hard to work out if it was injury holding him back a bit or mentality, bit of both or that he just hasn't settled under 2 very different types of play. In different positions, without a stable and regular start in the side. The latter being what gives me pause for thought. His work rate is also top.

I doubt he'd go to Saudi, at this stage of his career? Might spell the end of his Brazil national side chances (possibly?). I suppose everyone has a price.....!

But from a. Spurs perspective, what's the point If there isn't a suitable replacement lined up. One that actually improves the side.

I suppose with the new recruitment, injuries aside, being seemingly a vast improvement on previous years then I have a little more faith the club will.have identified Ange ready players.

In other words, I also have no idea what's best at this point!

exactly

He is starting to play well, he just needs a couple of goals to get back in the scoring groove!

who knows if we can sign a better player or 2 with the money or we would be better to keep him.

as long as its not a loss, I think we should move on. I dont think he will become a top player for us, rather take that money put on another real striker or RWF that has pace.
