Need to find him a good loan. Bale, Son, Lucas, Bergwijn, Lamela and even Sessegnon can play at LW, even if we sell one or two players there he still won't get much time.

Not sure how I feel about this, would rather he stay and learn from Bale personally.

Since the Poch era I am convinced learn and stay is not close as effective than good loan deals where you are pushed to perform on Matchdays and learn to deal with opponents on the pitch and to deal with pressure.

Absolutely this, the last few years have shown unambiguously that young players need games. Look at where Edwards, Onomah, and KWP are now versus where Juan Foyth is. Imagine how much more well-rounded the squad would be if we'd managed to develop those players properly rather than letting them languish until they reached a point where they had no future at Spurs. We can't keep making the mistakes we made under Poch, so I for one am very happy to see Parrott and Skipp out on loan and hope that Clarke, Foyth, and Sess will follow them.

The way Edwards in particular was mismanaged (imo) was a crying shame.

We sent him on Loan to Norwich and he showed absolutely dreadful professionalism under a manager who plays great football for that level. We then sent him on loan to the dutch league. At a certain point these talents have to take some responsibility. Onomah aswell, went on loan to Villa, Went on loan to Sheffield Wednesday and did poorly. Foyth and KWP probably could and should have gone on loan but this idea we're doing something different with Skipp and Parrott simply isn't true, Edwards and Onomah got those opportunities and it didn't work out.

Wherever he goes goes on on loan, and ideally he needs to for his own good aswell as ours, he needs to have be some of or guarantee of play. I understand thats is difficult in reality, but he really needs a season with a good run of games

It's a question of when, not if, they went on loan. Edwards was maybe down to his attitude, but Onomah and KWP languished at the club for years after they'd reached a point where they were ready for senior football.

I don't see how you can look at our loan policy pre-Poch, and look at what we're doing now that he's gone, and say that his tenure didn't represent a significant departure from the norm or that it didn't adversely affect the progression of young talents through our academy and into senior football.

Absolutely. It has been clearly established that Poch (or something related to either Argentine or Spanish club culture) was not a subscriber of the traditional development model we have in the UK, and wanted the players to develop through the club system (e.g. youth teams), which is the opposite of how Redknapp and even AVB (possibly Sherwood's role though) did things.
He seemed to only loan Josh and Marcus out when they were at the end of their tether and were kicking up a fuss.

This.

Learn and stay works if "play" is in there too. Some first team experience in the Europa league and league cup early rounds but these days it's so competitive with so many so-called first team players playing a squad role that younger players often won't get a look in.

Early good quality loans (supportive coach, competitive league at an appropriate level and first team game time) worked so well for the likes of Mason Mount and Harry Wilson in recent memory. Harry Kane being our shining example of this system.

Saying that, listened to Andros Townsend on a Spurs podcast where he talked about his own gambling addiction (compelling listening btw) but he really sheds light on what it's like for a young player to be sent out on loan. Not easy at all for young players at all but something that if done well can be an amazing step in their development.
