Is it possible for Redknapp to shut his mouth?

He has said the same thing , repeatedly for the last couple of weeks. There is nothing at all new here. You lot are mental , the press can tell you the same story 10 times and everytime you throw your hands up in the air, rip your hair out and wail about Redknapp being an arse .

He has seriously said this 3 or 4 times . If Levy had an issue with it then levy would have tried to stop Redknapp , if that failed then its a fair assumption he would have made a statement addressing it. There is nothing in there that isn't true , nothing in there that every single supporter and journalist doesn't already know . It's just keeping the clubs options open and making sure that if Modrc does leave then neither Redknapp nor Levy get blamed .

"Rent a quote" Redknapp is fair enough.

He's protecting his own interest, that's fair enough to me. Is it doing any harm to us whatsoever? No, of course it's not.

This is my opinion, of course. But I just don't understand what effect people think it will actually have. It's all an act for his Press buddies, to get them writing their column inches.

He spends every day with the players. Every day with the chairman probably too.

Why these infrequent snippets would do any actual harm, I honestly don't know? If someone cares to explain it to me, I'd be more than happy to listen.

protecting his own interests? you think this is ok?

not that fussed about his transfer/modric comments, however his clear angling for the england job just winds me right up, and no under no circumstance is that good for the club

He's not here here for the long-term, when are people going to get there head around that fact.

TBH his latest little dig at Levy in the Jole Cole interview is close to sending me over the edge.

He would also need a time machine to get get the best out of Joe Cole again, and to increase our overdraft to fund his freaking wages.

And we may have poured money into the squad but Ramos still failed miserably with that money. Jol did well, Santini didn't. Only Redknapp has taken us to 4th though. It still needs a decent manager to make the individuals into a team. Of course it's easier with money but that's just the circumstances here.

Just a small point . Ramos won our only trophy in the last decade...

Bomber, you have got some things wrong.

I don't HATE Harry Redknapp..........he comes across as a really nice man and does' a lot for charity.

However I simply don't RATE Harry Redknapp because he isn't good enough to be our manager.

Yep, I accept that but from that moment on from Feb through to September, we hardly won a match and looked odds on for relegation. Add the fact that Ramos had only been there a very short while and had a very low win percentage, I think his time here would be considered a failure. Top 4 over league cup for me personally. Fwiw, I quite liked him, but there were obvious communication issues amongst the tactical (Bentley RB) issues.

If that really is the case then fair enough and I would apologise. But if you read through most of your recent posts concerning him, you'd be forgiven for thinking you hate him judging by the tone of your posts. Maybe it's the frustration seeping through but it seems to me you hate him. Saying 'I wish he'd leave, he ain't good enough' is not rating him. Saying 'fuck off you twitchy ****' is hating him. You may not have said twitchy **** (the search function isn't working, but others have) but you've definitely said something along those lines a few times.

Anyway, when I say hate him, I probably mean hate him as a manager anyway.

It's possible Harry is speaking out because he knows more than we do. He's aware of what went wrong under Jol and Ramos and doesn't want another screwup to ruin what we've built up.

Look at his record since he got here and give him the benefit of the doubt

Er .. no I don't still love George Graham...no I don't still love Ramos .

Whats your point other than plain aggression

Sorry petal, there was no aggression, I should have put a big flower at the end of the sentence.
