I will support him completely until we concede a throw in, at which point I will pour rage, scorn and vindictiveness against him like a true Spurs fan.

I'd take him out for a nice seafood dinner and never call him again.

Tim Sherwood is a saint!!!

I wish him nothing but success, of course. He's got the job so if he does well, we do well. If he could take some elocution lessons and start speaking like someone from downton abbey, that would be great ;)

You should be banned for this pathetic excuse for a thread. If you don't care that a self confessed Gooner is in charge of our team then you might as well go the whole hog and fuck off down the Emirates.Twat.

Stay Black. That's the most important thing.

So are you really suggesting that most of this site's posters who are willing to get behind TS should be banned and support Arsenal? I like your logic.

whilst I am whelmed about his appointment and haven't been impressed about how he has so aggresively gone about trying to get the job, whilst appearing to have sly digs about AVB, he has been given the role so I will give him my full support and hope he can move us forward.

The biggest problem he is going to have is time. I can see him being given less time to turn things around than other experienced managers and the knives swil e out for him a lot sooner than they would be for say a Laudrup or a Martinez.

I will support him. The last thing we need is more in-fighting.

I supported all previous managers, whilst acknowledging they are not infallible.

He'd better win lots, mind.

I will support him, god knows he's going to need it. People are already turning on him and WHL at the moment can be hostile with all the boo boys.

Nope.

Disgusted at the AVB saying.

I will follow results, but I will not waste my time watching Tim's team until he does somethingthat warrants allowing him my time.

You are obviously very hurt by this. I liked AVB as a bloke but hated the way he had us playing. That said, I was shocked they fired him w/ TS as the back up plan (sounded like no back up plan to me). But as I've said I like what I see so far despite it being way too early to see how it will shake out.

Regardless of what happens though: SPURS is bigger than the players; bigger than the manager; bigger than Levy, ENIC, and Joe Lewis; its even bigger than its fickle fans; SPURS is about tradition, honor, and glory. To Dare is to Do. The Game is About Glory. These aren't just words painted on WHL this is the philosophy of SPURS. The actions of the players, managers, and administration may not always represent these values but these values remain the foundation of what SPURS is...and that is worth supporting.

Know who else is a "Self confessed Gooner"?

Bale was also a gooner.

I don't give a shit. If he does a good job, I'm happy.

I will continue to support the club, as managers and hopefully chairman come and go ......I just need to level set again given our recent flirtations with top 5 finishes

Well, I will be cheering and booing in equal measure, just to be impartial and not take sides on this one:p

Don't like him, I think he's tactically inept, technically deficient, unqualified for the job and really don't want him as our head coach.

However, I'm a man and have no shame so you will still hear me singing TIM SHERWOOD'S BLUE AND WHITE ARMY
