As long as it takes. The guy is a winner and that isn't changed by the team not turning up in Zagreb/library. I don't care if it takes, one, two or more seasons, he still represents our best shot at becoming one of Europe's elites.
Guess you haven’t watched us play this season

I would not put too much faith in the figures said to be on the waiting list . Two of my family members were told they were a long way down on the waiting list but last season they were offered the chance to buy season tickets .
My take on that is there is a lot of people on the season ticket waiting list that for various reasons do not take uptake the opportunity to buy when offered . The reasons the ones on the list in front of them I can only guess why they did not buy a ticket .
That was after an expansion in the capacity, and it was lucky dip for anyone on the waiting list who wanted to apply midseason. I got one myself. The waiting list is still enormous. I was around 32,000 on it and was only gaining around 4,000 places a year. Tickets hardly ever go on general sale because members, many of whom are on the ST waiting list, buy them.

You're just making up points.

Highly doubtful that he's going before the end of the season at the minimum.

Until the summer of 2022 if the board are really prepared to back him in the summer. It is probably our best shot of actually winning some silverware. After that we can appoint some kind of German 'genius' like Nagelsmann for a huge rebuild.

Give him a team like

Lloris (Pope);
Tanganga (Aurier), Skriniar (Alderweireld), Rodon (Sanchez), Reguilon (Davies);
Zakaria, Hojbjerg (Skipp), Ndombele (Lo Celso);
Neto
(Bale), Kane, Son.

And he will deliver.

Sorry but he's not going to take us to the next level and that was why we hired him. Process over events. Was the process right this year? Fuck no it wasn't. Keep him on the back of a cup any Prem team can win and you'll just get more pain next year when you fail going for the more respected titles.
Agree with your sentiment but have a look at who has won League Cup over the last 20 odd years. Its not easy and certainly not any prem team. Very rarely a team.outside top 6. In fact since 1999 when we won it only 3 teams, Middlesbrough 2004, Birmingham 2011 and Swansea 2013 have won it outside us ,Man U, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Making out this is easy to win is media fueled kapoppycock.

This is very important. If there’s a new manager in the summer, and we go through this whole “everyone gets a clean slate” process, I’d be strongly against getting rid of Jose. We need to clear out those that are causing the problems, and if that can only be done by Jose remaining, he gets my support to rebuild the squad. Now if a new manager is told that some problem players are leaving regardless, then my opinion might change depending on the end to the season. For me it’s at least til the end of the season, and I really do want to see him shake up the squad and get more of his players in. No matter the manager, they have to be backed, and levy should not take control of any squad decisions or override managerial decisions regarding the squad.

To next season if he can get the squad he wants. I can't blame him for everything. He's not been able to rebuild properly due to no funds coming in. We don't know what would have happened if he could get his targets. It hasn't been bad all season. His job now is to remotivate the squad. I didn't think he was the right man for the job not because he's a bad manager but for who he is. It's Terry Neil and George Graham again. Just a tiny bit more acceptable.

IDK, I just don't see Levy spending any money this summer transfer. We need 1 New CB, a new RB, a new Defensive Midfielder(backup for Hoj) and coverage for Son/Kane. Most of our players that would be shifted are going to go for peanuts, no one will pay for winks/sissoko/doherty/rose/Lamela. None of those players have a decent transfer value. I think if Winks stays in england we could prob get 15-20 just simply because of HG/England tax but everyone else hovers around 10. All of those players sold together gets you 1 very good player or 1/2 a slab head.

I’ll go for end of the season but let’s be honest, it’s been a pretty miserable year.. cowardly performances, late goals conceded, embarrassing defeats, creatively unprecedented ‘Spursy’ moments, the Bale situation, drama behind the scenes, the fact that without Kane we can barely muster a shot on target. I doubt it’s solely his fault but Jose’s not turning this round.

Voted immediately as no option for ‘till the end of the season & then sacked regardless of outcome’. Clearly the wrong man for the job, too many of our fans are either in denial, have blind faith no matter what or wanted him in from the start so can’t be seen to be wrong now.

He was brought in with great expense to improve us, near 18 months later & 10 signings we’ve barely improved. This experiment of Levy hasn’t worked. Time to move on for the good of the club.

That's the narrative of the season but the funny thing is that we have the top scorer and assister in the league, 4th highest scorers, joint 3rd best defence, joint 4th best GD, led the league for 4 weeks, in a cup final and can still qualify for top 4. It's a funny season where there's been so much drama surrounding us and I think having a manager like Jose has contributed to that due to all the commotion he brings and yet we still could have our best season in the Prem ever if we finish top 4 and win the cup.

End of the season at the earliest - zero point getting rid of him now.

If we can bring in someone better in the summer (i.e. Nagelsmann) then defo fuck him off. He's obviously not the future of this club.

However, if all the options are a bit shit we might need to bide our time a little and wait for the right man (bit like Chelsea did with Tuchel). If we get the next managerial appointment wrong too we're seriously fucked.

End of season. Although i don't see it one bit, I really hope we win the cup. Jose keeps his trophy reputation in check, Spurs win something in 13 years and we part ways in summer.

Another season with his own mark put on the team with signings please . A centre back/goalkeeper/ another forward and right back

we would see a different side then IMO . This season hasn’t really been that bad everyone’s making out we are arsenal in 10th

He's already signed one right back, a CB he doesn't play, and three forwards. How many more does he need before we get a team he's happy with?

If he's a world-class coach, after 18 months shouldn't he be getting the best out of the players at his disposal?

I agree we need quite a few new players, but we saw at United that he just kept buying and buying.

Exactly. Tuchel has done more at Chelsea in 2 months than Jose has done in 18 months at Spurs. It's not all about signings.

Sure the Chelsea squad has great depth, but a couple of months ago they were below us in the table and players like Rudiger and Alonso had one foot out of the door. Look at them now.

They're far from the finished article but he's made them into what's currently the meanest defense in Europe and their entire system and style of play has dramatically transformed.

With the right manager it's possible to make huge positive gains without spending shitloads of money. Our forward line is far better than Chelsea's - Kane and Son are miles ahead of their forwards - but they have a system of play that works and they look so, so much better than us at the moment.

a 12m pound right back , a 10m pound centre back

these transfer fees would barely stand out in the year 2005 let alone 2021

do you think pep and city would be where they are this season with Rodon and Doherty instead of cancelo and Dias
