I've been having a think about how I really feel about Tottenham Hotspur, before really having a chance to think about it, I would probably have said I love the club, but then I got to thinking.

The Club is actually like my ex girlfriend,

I have loved the club for years, but sadly, they give me more bad times than good.
I loved my ex girlfriend, but she slept with another fella behind my back, I knew I shouldn't have turned around.

I keep going back to all things Spurs, forums etc, even though they cause me such hurt.
I stupidly went back with my ex girlfriend after she'd been stabbed by another fella's pork sword.

Even though sometimes I feel like I hate Spurs, I still go and watch them play, why?
Even though I hate my ex, I still like to stand outside her bedroom window and watch her sleep, why?

So I asked myself these questions,

1. Do I really love Spurs???

2. Do I still love my ex girlfriend???

Answer..... I'm a creep!

So I ask you, how do you REALLY feel about Spurs??

I hate Spurs at the moment. I feel disconnected from the players more than I have before. I can't stand a lot of the players that walk out in our shirt. I expect it will be quite some time before these opinions change for me... Saying that, Tottenham Hotspur is everything to me, and deep down I will always love it.

I actually think I have a pretty decent perspective on it. Just go back and watch that Bale compilation when he was banging in last minute screamers and winning us games left right and centre.

I knew at the time that this was near the top of the roller coaster and loved every minute of it. You just have to make sure you appreciate things at the time.

Damn dude, that's some heavy shit right there. Hope it all works out with the girl and you move on n all.

As for the girl: bitches ain't shit but ho's n tricks. (disclaimer: bitches, not females)

As for Spurs: Yeah, it sucks a far more frequently than I ever imagined, especially nowadays, but it does make the good times all the more wonderful. I know we're in a low place atm, but I have faith that at some point we'll get it together at least to a point where we can all enjoy the football again. We may not get top four, but we at least have the resources in place and desirability to make ourselves a smooth and attractive footballing side again.

On hold for Franco right now.

Can't believe Greensleeves is the hold music.

I could do a better job is how I feel.

:pompous:

I'd vote for you before even fully knowing what you'd do. I wouldn't even have to be manager, but I guarantee were I in charge of even just the transfer policy I'd have done a far better job. I'd give fuck all for ego, I'd identify where our problems lie and be best of friends with Broomfield in identifying players to solve these problems.

If you can even do a portion of that, or just not buy some of the players we've purchased, I'd wholeheartedly throw in a vote for you.

i don't know whether it's a personal thing or an age thing but my enthusiasm for spurs is at an all-time low. i still like to talk spurs all the time probably because i have nothing better to do but come match day i just feel ambivalent about it all, i used to be a bundle of nerves before every important/league game but now it's just like i'm watching a club i have no affinity for, i wasn't angry or gutted on sunday, i just shrugged and laughed. i always used to think it was a bit "try-hard" to be so interested in the youth teams but i now find myself reading up and watching them far more now, i want to see mason, kane, townsend, bentaleb etc in the team ... if we're not going to be very good then i'd rather we were not very good with these guys rather than some faceless foreign robots. i like poch, i don't think he'll last long because they never do under levy, i think it's just been a case of one too many now and it's eventually ground me down. i used to go to around 15 games a season but over the past one and a bit i've gone to two, it's just not that enjoyable for me anymore and the whole matchday experience isn't what it used to be.

It feels like I'm in an abusive relationship. Every week I make myself look pretty, prepare a nice meal, and think things will turn around, only to get bitch slapped by my uncaring partner.

To clear up any confusion, I am chairman/DOF/manager and captain. Wouldn't trust anyone else to delegate any of these positions...

For the last few years a little bit meh.......................................................
But I will still go to Stoke in a couple of weeks, i just cant help myself, I always think "this time................" :banghead:

I have made a conscious effort this season not to get wound up so easily, and at least I could laugh on the way back from a crushing defeat from the leagues best away team on Sunday, rather than let it ruin my week.
