We haven't won away to any of the 'big 4' in years. Do you feel a sense of fear when watching us play against the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool AWAY? Obviously, by fear I mean we haven't won at most of those grounds mentioned above in 17 years or something around that? (If I'm wrong, please correct me).

At home, I fancy us to get a result but it always seems that were going to lose before the match has even been played.

I watch every spurs game, just like most people here do and I love Tottenham but I just cant get my head around the fact that we always seem to do poorly against these teams, away.

Is it a leadership issue? Player issue? Manager issue? Or is it a sort of 'pedigree' that these 'bigger' clubs have?

I was curious to see what everyone thought about it, I can't wait for today's game and I think we have a real chance this year of winning away but that little sentence seems to sound oh to familiar...

What do you think about our chances? Maybe some of you don't feel anything I feel and have a complete different opinion.

I think the collective SC optimisim is flat.

We need to buck the almost unstoppable pattern while being understrength.

Of course its possible to win, but time after time it just doesn't pan out.

Confident. The issue is for years we've been lagging behind certain clubs but now we are in touching distance. 3 points today.

Sh**ing myself, as usual!!

The goons especially seem to do well against us as the last 10 years suggests. They may also be confident after their carling cup win against us at the lane, thouGh the teams will be different no doubt. We have all seen what happens when we up our game but to often that comes at the lane. I told everybody that I was 100% confident that we would do Inter at home and we did, as suggested, if this was at the lane i would be confident of a win and would be expecting no less than a draw but its always worrying going to the emirates.

I HATE loosing to the goons and all the stick that their fans give, but if we turn up and play the way we can there is no reason why it wouldnt be a close game. Arsenal have had their wobbles this season as well, as have all teams. Guess we'll find out within the bext few hours!!!

I don't know if its flat, I mean I can tell you I'm very optimistic and I know we can get a result, I'm just nervous as usual and I have that 'going away to top 4' feeling inside.

I spoke too soon! I'm not confident at all, but I'm glad some of us are still optimistic.

I'm not optimistic at all, if we were at home I would probably be expecting us to win and be disappointed if we didn't. As it is at there place I am just gonna go into the game of the opinion that anything we get is a bonus and a defeat is the most likely outcome.

No to be too downhearted but I expect to concede 3 goals today as usual. Will be delighted if we manage to take anything from the game though obviously.

"I think we are finding form/fitness at the right time, and this is the weakest Arsenal in 10 years.

I think it will be a draw unless we get sendings off/oft pens etc."

With our 1st 11 and IF we were in any sort of form (which we would be if we had our 1st 11 available) I wuld say that it was a 50/50 game. However, we are weakened, we are inconsistent, we are weak at the back.

So I'm not feeling very confident at all. Having said that, a couple f years ago we wnet there with injuries and had O'Hara and KPB in the middle and dominated them.

You never know, but I just feel that they will take us a bit more seriously today and up their game accordingly!

Can't see past a convinving scum victory in all honesty.

Pessimistic - despite our victory last time, the years of losing have finally worn me down.:-(

Not confident at all. When we play away to the big four something always seems to conspire against us. Either a penalty (or two), keystone cops defending, or some other real school boy error. As with every other game away to the big four, here hoping today is the day we put it right. COYS (I would be happy with a draw).

Some very interesting thoughts here, it seems as though most of you feel that we're not going to take much from this game! I'd be happy with a point but I know we can win this game, we have the team and the talent, I just don't know about the leaders and the mentality the players have...

They must currently have the worst back five they have had for a long time. Watched a couple of their games on sky(last one against Everton) they looked average at times, but yet always seem to beable to up the gears against us. Nasri is certainly on a bit of a purple patch, be surprised if he doesn't score against us today.

Have to say a draw is probably the best we can hope for.
