Start singing more songs rather than just when the spurs go marching in....seriously why is this the only song that gets going at all??!! There use to be more songs at the lane.

Get rid of the fans who sat there because it was the cheapest stand rather than because they wanted to sing.

Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea all have bang average atmospheres, so it was obvious it was going to happen at our new stadium with more fans who turn up to visit the stadium and have a day out.

I usually go to 5 or 6 home games a season being a bronze member and take my two young lads with me , so I can't commit to more but it was easier to get tickets at WHL with 35k then it is flat 62k stadium...where have all these fans come from?

I made a post on the new stadium thread about three years ago warning that the atmosphere will disappear and that it will attract new fans that generally do not give a shit about the club. We all have friends who support a club in name but after a five min chat with them you realise they know sod all about the club. Well those are the same people who turn up now whinging week in and week out for 30 mins a half whilst for the remaining time they are down in the bar getting pissed and slagging off the manager and team.

The last game I attended was Norwich at home in midweek and I questioned after whether I even want to go again as the atmosphere was shit and I was surrounded by utter knob heads of the highest order. I have seen alot shitter teams of the years but always loved going to the Lane however that feeling is dwindling.

If I had the chance to buy a spurs season ticket with Sky for all the matches live and stay at home, then it would not bother me about never going again..which for me is a shame.

Need a dedicated singing section, must of the fans don't sing that's why there's no atmosphere. Get the same feeling like I'm talking on a silent tube, ridiculous. More flags would be nice. The club needs to sort this out, we can't all congregate off our own backs with all the sport tourists grabbing tickets.

Jeez, miss the 1882 Europe league nights

I’m not renewing this coming year fell out of love with going to watch us since we moved to the new stadium ! It just doesn’t have that magic feeling and atmosphere that the lane had

Dish out the words to the songs to fans as they arrive. Put em on the big screens before ko and at half time.

Teach all these new fans a bit of Spurs culture.

Other fans will rip us to shreds for it but I couldn’t care less if it generates a better atmosphere.

Problem is they'd all have to be totally politically correct and family friendly. Nothing negative about other teams or players, nothing about the ref, no Yids, half the player songs out (no Dele, no Vertonghen etc). It'd be "Come on you Spurs", "Glory Glory" and "He's one of our own" on repeat forever, or even worse some club-designed nonsense.

Personally I think we need designated singing sections spread throughout the stand. There just isn't anywhere close to 17,500 ST holders who want to consistently make an atmosphere, but there probably is a third of that number and if you had them in blocks of 1,000 each (probably including one on the southern end of the Shelf too) it would ensure noise coming from all parts and allow pretty much anyone else who wanted to to join in as well - it would be infectious.

"And don't forget, it's:

'...An arsenal fan, on a string, she told me to kick his fucking in, fucking head in, fucking head in,she told me to kick his fucking head in...'

Enjoy the game,

Daniel"
