Took me a while. But that Charlie article was last straw. F*** him vote cast. And hope Levy either make citeh pay up 150 all cash+ or, strings them out and the says "actually, no" on last day.
Seriously, of all the ways to play it, why double down on the "you said I could leave" vs "you say you want me but offer grealish" c25m? "

The article is just dreadful. You would have hoped that there had been some additional guidance and support from his camp by now, but I guess not. If he’s really bothered about his relationship with the fans, social media provides a really easy way for him to explain his side of the story. I don’t understand how anyone can suggest that whining through the media is a better option. Just utterly bizarre advice.

He’s trying to have his cake and eat it. He clearly thought he’d be able to force through a move without alienating the fans. His statement on Twitter the other week showed that, but all it did was dig the hole deeper. If he hadn’t done the Neville interview, and if he’d turned up for training etc the fans likely would have accepted it, been sad to see him go etc.

If he wanted to be open and honest about this, he’d come out publicly and request a transfer, outline his reasons and take the financial hit of losing his loyalty payment. That he’s spent the summer making snide leaks like this to the press, and trying to force the clubs hand by being unprofessional shows his true colours. He might want to win trophies, but the way he’s gone about things this summer demonstrates that money is also playing a massive part in his thinking.
Also, the loyalty payment thing is such a nonsense. He’d just say to City, add it to my signing on bonus. He wouldn’t ever be short of money. And that’s not something that affects their FFP is it? Are wages and bonuses looked at too?

I don't fucking understand why he hasn't made a transfer request yet? Of course he will lose royalty bonus but if he is so desperate to leave it's surely worth it. Right?

I thought that we were done with the bizarre drama around this? He's back at the club and he was either going to stay, or be sold.

...what the fuck is this?! What are they doing? It's like legacy suicide. If there was any truth in the FA being pissed off before, what does carrying this on in the press do? Bet Southgate is well impressed.

I mentioned this the other day, also. It HAS to be somewhat about money, otherwise he’d simply hand in a transfer request.

I actually believe that would be the most honest thing he could do.

Yeah, wages and bonuses are factored into ffp. I’m sure Harry would suddenly find himself being sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Royal baked bean cannery or something though.

All this is boring yet so addictive, all this is annohying yet so fucking funny

I want him gone but understand that they just havent paid the cash. I just dont get why, like others have said, they didnt fucking prioritise Kane instead of paying the 100m. If they have 225m (125m + 100m) then they should have lumped most on Kane if they were that hell bent on him.

As for Kane, the ****, he should be thinking in his own shitty mind - well if they prioritised Grealish then fuck that.

He needs to put in a transfer request and STFU with all these briefs. Show us how badly you want to win with Man City. Forfeit some of that loyalty money and achieve your lifelong dream of winning trophies at City.

I’m sorry Harry, let me just compose myself after reading your sad, sad, story.

What is sad it you really don’t get it, you talk about the love and respect from the fans meaning so much and you have no idea what that means. If you did you wouldn’t keep trolling out crap to the media like this…. miscommunication over dates? Do you think we’re all as thick as Charlie?

Yes you want to leave, we get it. Just stop with the sob stories, be a man and hand in a transfer request. Then get Charlie to pick up the phone to City (be specific with him, Manchester City, not Birmingham) and tell him they have to pay £160M. It’s only three numbers with a big M at the end, draw it out for him if you think it he’ll struggle.

If they really want you, they’ll pay. If not STFU, work hard, show some respect for the club and it’s fans ……and get your spoon and fork ready, you’ll need to start eating humble pie every day for a good while yet (y)
