Disagree. He's been playing a lot better these past games and is struggling with the fact that we don't have a functional midfield to help build the play up and as a result he's having to be deployed a battering ram to win the long balls from the back. Also, doesn't help that due to the non-existent cohesive CM pairing, he's having to drop deep to help dictate play and make opportunities for himself and others.

Jesus christ. Some of you need to have a think. 2 weeks ago he was back to his best etc, now he doesn't want to be here and isn't interested. He got nothing but long balls today and is hardly going to go pressing on his own against 3 centre backs. A back-up striker wouldn't change the fact that we lack a CM pairing who can progress the ball or win the ball back. That back-up striker (unless he was say Kevin Davies) would still struggle with our weakness in midfield.

When you look at the typical line up it makes sense.

Our tactics against Wolves, UTD and Chelsea have left Kane completely isolated and given him an impossible task. Once we get our midfield working, we might actually see a pattern of play and chances coming his way.
