Let's hope he comes back in tip top form. Even with a decent performance the other day, we need Gomes, especially with the amount of shots we're likely to be subjected to while all our centre backs are injured.

Unless we play Gomes at centre back? At least we know he has a better leap on him that Corluka, and he can't be any slower can he?

And nice to see Pav score the decisive goal in that session, drilling a shot into the bottom corner. At least some of our strikers still score! :grin:

But seriously, it would be nice to see him score that kind of goal v Twente (when he gets his 15 min at the end) and v Villa in the league...
