Hi fellow Spursophiles,

A few years ago (2019 maybe, pre-pandemic for sure) I posted this video:

which was well received here (thank you) but as I had been working on it for 2 years solid I needed a break to re-charge my creative batteries. But now I'm back and working on the scene below which will be an animated aerial fly-around of the stadium and area. Not only is the stadium as accurate as I could get it but ALL of the surrounding buildings are/will be as closely recreated as possible as they stood back in 2017.

It will also be a day-to-night scene. During the day the stadium will be empty as seen here but by night it will be at full capacity under the lights, although I'm going to have to work out how to simulate a 30,000+ crowd. Any computer graphics nerds like me here who would know how to do that? The streets will be teeming with vehicles and people too. To finish off I'll compose a triumphant musical theme and there will be commentary of famous Spurs goals/moments under the lights to add extra drama and nostalgia to complete the project. So a few challenges ahead!

Going forward I would also love to recreate WHL and the surrounding area as it was back in 1899 but I have only been able to find a couple of photos online and they aren't very usable as I need detailed shots.

I probably asked this before but I figure no harm in asking again. Does anyone have any other photos? Maybe someone out there has something? I think there is a club historian now so I'll send them an email if I can get their contact details. If I had the necessary reference material digitally recreating the area as it was back then would absolutely be doable. Without it, not so much.

I love the idea of recreating history, a history that in our own ways we all share with our love of the club and also back to a time when football was not infected with the corruption it is now but I'll not get on my soapbox about that.

Anyhow if there's interest I'll post major updates here and more minor work-in-progress ones on my YT channel as and when (this stuff takes time so there won't be anything immediate though).

I visit this forum every day but don't post on general football stuff as although in life I consider myself a glass half full guy, when it comes to Spurs I am a very glass always empty person so I don't want to post negative stuff. This is my way of trying to post something positive. Maybe when Conte wins us a trophy that'll help to heal some of my 30 years of Spurs trauma. ?

As always COYS!
