Spurs Bear, we are lumbered with him for the moment - shelling out for season tickets (two years this year) and away tickets tends to mean I am a supporter I thought.

Well we're in the same boat then aren't we.

HOWEVER...I am still waiting for what magic wand you would wave and how you would change all this so that it pleased you more and were able to support a manager and chairman that you wanted to.

As much as i'd like to see GDC be given a game, COle is most definitley the type of player we need right now, left sided, experienced and top quality. What more could we ask for???

As much as i'd love to see Joe Cole at Spurs, i'm not entirley convinced he's our LW solution.

Firstly like so many we've tried at LW, Joe Cole is a right-footed player who just happens to play at LW, is this because he's the best LW option, or is it because he's not able to make it into his preferred AM role? - i think its the latter!!

But saying that, he is still a top player! The only concern is, is he too much like Modric?? Both are essentially playmakers, both are always looking for the killer pass, both run at players and both are playing on the left!

BTW: If Cole signs, then Gio should be back-up (had to make sure our little Mexican Speedy G wasn't left out of the conversation!! lol)

I really hope this is just BS, but if isn't, then i really don't know what Harry is thinking. Especially when we're now being linked to Joe Cole, who is arguably in the same mould as GDS (or should that be the other way around - ah well, you know what i mean!!).

And going back to what Gibbs was saying above (albeit in a fairly subtle manner, so you may have missed it!! , if we actually kept GDS, then Gibbsy your comment sticks "why indeed would we need another small winger/midefielder".
But if he goes, then we'll just end up having to splash a whole load of dosh on transfer fees and wages! - when GDS is already here and has already been paid for!!

I say give the ickle mexican a chance, at least til January, and then if he's still not cutting it, then get rid!!
